The General Ability paper is coded as Paper 1 (Code No. 1).It is an English language paper and one is faced with multiple choices questions. The maximum marks obtainable in the General Ability, General Medicine & Paediatrics Papers of the Combined Medical Services Examination in the Union Public Service Commission is two hundred and fifty marks.
