Re: Can BCA(Distance) students give SSC exam? Sir I have done Bsc maths from annamalai university(Distance mode). Am I eligible to appear for SSC Graduate level exams as they mention that the Degree obtained through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance Education Council, IGNOU |

Because to apply for SSC examination you must hold a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University. So after Graduation you are eligible to apply for SSC examination. So you have completed your BCA degree course, so definitely you are eligible for SSC examination. Age eligiblity criteria - Sub Inspectors in CPOs - 20-25 years Assistant/Sub Inspector in CBI - 20-27 years Statistical Investigators Gr.II - Max 26 years. For all other posts - 18-27 years Physical Eligiblity Criteria - Height 157.5 cms. Chest 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.) Height relaxable by 5 cms. In the case of Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Scheduled Tribes. Physical Test - Walking - 1600 metres in 15 minutes. Cycling - 8 Kms in 30 minutes. Vision- Eye-sight (with or without glasses) - Distant vision - 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
