Re: Is a student of B.Tech final year eligible to attend the Indian Engineering Service Exam? hello dear yes, B.Tech final year students are eligible to attend the Indian Engineering Service Exam. but all branch of engineering holders are not eligiable for IES exam. only ECE, EE, CE and ME branch of engineering is allowed to attain in the IES exam. as the criteria which is required only for the four discipline branch of engineering is given below 1.minimum graduation in engineering from recognized university or college. 2.minimum 55% marks in engineering. 3.age limit 21-28. all the best........ |

But, in such case your Final Result (Provisional/Original) of B.Tech. should be available at the time of Interview (Personality Test). The Schedule for upcoming ENGINEERING SERVICES EXAMINATION (2012) is as under; Date of Notification: 25th Feb, 2012 Last date of receipt of application 26th Mar, 2012 Date of Examination (Written) : 15th Jun, 2012 onwards(3 days). |
