Chemical Engineering is one of the best branch of Engineering. It has a large scope in India.
There are large no. of companies that require Chemical Engineers.
Some of them Are

1 ONGC
2 Indian Oil
3 Bharat Petroleum
4 Reliance
5 GAIL
6 SAIL
7 Hindustan Petroleum
and Many More..

The Average salary offered is generally 35k to 50k at starting. However, you have sure chance of getting your salary increased after entering into the profession.

hello,
See once you get admission in the college then just try to do your work honestly,you should not think about the salary structure you would get,it is only your work which will give you a better place and salary.
Generally the chemical students when placed in india they get salary between
30-40 thousands per month.If you would do better in the field where you are then surely nobody can say that how high you would go,the main thing you should do is to study your subject very seriously and honestly.

Chemical Engineering is one of the most demanding engineering. There is enough scope to earn a lot of money in this stream. There are many technology oriented companies which pays a lot to the chemical engineers.

In government sectors you an get a payment of about 8-10 lakhs annually.

In private sectors you can get a payment of about 5-6 lakhs annually.

But the stream need lot of labor and determination.

salary of B.E. FRESHER with chemical engineering:

IN GOVERNMENT SECTOR: RS 8-10 LAKH

IN PRIVATE SECTOR: RS 4-5 LAKH

For chemical Engineers, most of the chemical industries are most wanted. The Salary package is most important.
for chemical engineers it will be around 50,000- 1 lakh above per annum.
There are lot of scope in this technolgy oriented companies.

I got 83% in12th & 107 in PMT,119 in PET(MHTCET).I fond of Chemical engineering in Maharashtra Govt. colleges.With special career, can u give any structure about salary ?
