Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

There is wide difference between the student of IIT and MBA. MBA is a study of management, business organisation, corporate management whereas IIT is a premier sole independent research and development institute which related to technological/engineering study of electronics, information technology, computer sciences in simple words its engineering and MBA is business management. Both have diffrent eligibility criteria and have different norms to get into admission and more over different career prospects, although to get there you need to appear in entrance examination conducted by various university but for IIT there is only one way to get admission by appearing in IIT-JEE conducted by IIT itself. On the other hand to get into MBA there are many state level/national level entrance test conducted by various management institutes/universities.

MBA student implies that he/she is pursuing management studies i.e MBA from any management institute which is professional PG degree course whereas a student of IIT means he/she is being/ has been pursuing B-Tech or any other course offered by the institute IIT.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

Friend

IIT(Indian Institute of Technology) is the best college of engineering in India. There 15

IITs in India. So it is a name of a college and not a course name.

MBA(Master of Business Administration) is a master degree and can be done after

graduation to grow your own business or to work in industry. So it is a name of a course

and not a college name.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

dear friend,
My friend,The basic difference between IIT students and the MBA students-
1.IIT students are from technical background and MBA students are from management field..
2.There are Fifteen IIT's in all over India, and if any one wants to take admission in IIT's then he/she has to appear in entrance exam like- IIT-JEE...
There are seven IIM's all over India, if any one wants to take admission in IIM's then he/she has to appear in CAT exam..
3.From IIT one can get technical degree..but from IIM's one can get management degree..
4.IIT students can get a job in technical field, but MBA students can get a job in management field...

These are the basic difference between IIT students and MBA students..
All the best.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

There is Difference in many fields-
1.IIT = Indian Institute of Technology
which means a student of a government institution among the 15 in INDIA.
and MBA=Master of Business Administration
that means master degree in Business Administration.
2. A IIT student can work in technician field but a MBA student can't.
A MBA student can work in management level .
and many more
So there is a huge difference among the two.

Thank you

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

IIT means Indian Institute of Technology. Basically these are meant for technical and engineering courses. Also degree of architecture is given by them. Students become engineers, architects, scientists etc. after studying in IITs.
MBA is completely different. It means Master of Business Administration. This degree is related to business field. It is a post graduation course which can be done after B. Tech. or any other graduation course.
A student who has done graduation at IIT or any other recognised university can go for MBA. Basically MBA students work in business field like finance, accounting, marketing, HR, management etc.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

Hello friend,
IIT is not any course but is a group of institutes which provides various courses ranging from bachelors degree to Ph.d.
IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology.

MBA is a master degree in business administration, and the degree holders are known as masters of business administration.

So, that's the basic and the only difference between IIT and MBA, one is a group of institute and the other is a post graduate degree program.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

Students passing out from IIT's are either having Bachelor's degree in engineering and technology or having master's degree or Ph.D. in science and engineering courses. There is nothing like IIT done. IIT is not a degree, it is an institution which provide education and certifies it's students with bachelor's or master's degrees.

While an MBA student studies the aspects of management during his graduation period which is 2 years.

Re: Difference between IIT student and MBA student?

Dear Friend

IIT stands for Indian Institute of Technology
i.e., IIT is the name of a govt. institution.
There are fifteen Indian Institute of Technologies in India (All run by Central Govt.)

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration
i.e., MBA is name of a course which is generally of 2 years duration.

MBA done student means that the student has completed/passed MBA course.

IIT done student doesn't make any sense.
