The minimum qualification of IPS exam is graduation . graduate from any stream can apply for IPS exam.The minimum age qualification is 21 years and the maximum age qualification is 30 years.The age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate. Hello, No, you cannot apply for IPS(Indian Police service) exam having completed one year graduation course * candidates should complete graduation from a recognized university * You should have age limit within 21-30 years * And relaxation for OBC for 3 years and SC/ST is 5 years. so, you are not allowed eligible for IPS exam. The candidates appearing for the exam must have a degree from a recognized university. So,as far regarding the education qualification you must have a degree but it seems that you don't have a valid degree as you may have discontinued from degree,if that's the case then you cannot apply for this exam. |

You age should be between 21 to 30 years if you fall into general category .There is relation given to reserved caste students in upper age limits and no of attempts . 35 year is upper age limit for SC/ST and 33 years is upper age limit for OBC No of attempts 4 for general students and 7 for OBC students and No limit for SC/ST For more information::http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |

NO OF ATTEMPTS:- General candidate- 4 times OBC candidate-7 times SC/ST candidate- many times You are not eligible for one years graduation course. Only minimum 3 years graduation degree are eligible. all the best. |

Minimum education criteria = Graduate Age limit for civil service exam is: General category: candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. SC/ST: up to a maximum of 5 years. OBC: up to a maximum of 3 years. A general candidate can attempt Four times only.Where as Seven attempts of OBCs. And no limit for SCs/STs. |
