Re: Procedure to get the post of Drug Inspector after completing M.Pharm? Any entrance exam to be answered to get to that post? I need some clarification regarding my Drug Inspector experinece. I have selected for Karnataka Drug inspector interview. In notification they have asked 18 months experience, but I have M.Pharma qualification, but no experience. Y bcoz after completion of M.Pharma in 2014, I got Govt job . till today im working in this dept. Is there any experince relaxation for M.Pharma for DI post. Plz clarify me, I have interview in dis month. |

 Drug Inspector exams are conducted by mostly by all state government for their states so i suggest you to keep checking UPSC websites that is www.upse.nic.in and they qualifications are:- EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION : A candidate must have hold a degree in Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with specialisation in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a University established in India by law. No person who has any financial interest in the import/manufacture of sale or drugs and cosmetics shall be appointed as an Inspector, under the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, 1945. AGE : A candidate must be under 32 years and above 21 years of age. |

There should be less exp requirement for M.Pharm candidates. Also in UPSC There should be exemption in age for candidates having higher education. |

Pharma candidates who have specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University can apply for this post or having experience of Eighteen months in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drugs and Cosmetics Rules, 1945.
