Hi its very difficult to prepare for english and general awareness within a months you should start reading english news paper and watch english news channel it would help you both in english and general awareness. At the same time reading newspaper would help you prepare for comprehensive passage. You should also read manorama the year book for this year and previous year and magazines like India today, current affairs etc You should also solve as many english mock paper as possible. and also try to analyse what went wrong and where you faced difficulty. and work on those errors All the best |

Without English now an educational life is in en-danger. fluency is the key element in placement cell of any campusing chair.Fluency means speak the English very clearly,accurately,spontaneously ,because the English fluency increase your Confidence as well as make you more Smarter The fluency is entirely based on more and more practice because 'Practice makes a man Perfect'. there are some steps to increase the fluency of English speaking. Some of them are: 1:Read the daily well-known newspapers such as Times of India,The Telegraph,The Statesman etc.... 2:Listen to the English band songs or any natural English song in headphone. 3:Speak regularly English with the Teacher,friend in colleges,school,market. 4:try to make a group discussion (GD) or debate or any argument with the friends alltogetherly. 5:Watch English movies and read English Novels or books to improve the vocabulary and pronunciations. 5:Listen to English commentaries of sports and English news from some channels like CNN or CNBC or NDTV regularly. At last I will say you everything is depend upon you.You have to practice more and more consistently. I can guarantee you must be helpful if you practice those above points. |

Re: How to prepare General Awareness and English within a month? General Awareness can be obtained by watching news daily on T.V twice or thrice a day. And right in the morning read the newspaper and cover as much section as you can. English cannot be improved within a month. Its too short a time. But yeah ,you can start speaking in english continuously. This would help you gain confidence and fluency. Some of the tips which may be useful are : 1.) Speak slow and clear. 2.) Keep it simple and don't use too hi-fi words. 3.) Don't speak wrong english. If you cannot frame a sentence at anytime, you can switch to the language in which you are comfortable. Hope this Helps. Re: How to prepare General Awareness and English within a month? you can learn english by reading books and also by reading news paper every day and if you find any difficulties in any words,note those words with which you are finding difficulties and refer to dictionary...also watch news like bbc,cnn,etc through which you will not only learn to speak good english but also will develop in listening skills and also with your g.k...try to crab new words and listen properly how they pronounce it....have a practice of learning new words everyday...try to speak in english always and try to express your feelings in english...and definitely you will be able to speak good english.... |

Re: How to prepare General Awareness and English within a month? just read more n more English newspapers,no need to read whole newspaper,just read 1or 2 paragraphs of it and find out meanings of difficult words from the dictionary and try to use them in daily life.if you don't have anyone with whom you can communicate in English than you can stand in front of mirror n speak to yourself in English.and for general awareness read general knowledge books for improving your Gk with in a month. |

Take Learning as a fun activity and not as work.So that you will never get stressed. Always remember learning is a slow process,so time is required. Join English speaking courses,Do homeworks regularly. Prefer watching Educational english Movies atleast once in month. Try learning new words daily.Visit English forums daily. Listen to listen news & other programes which are in English. Find friends to study and speak with. Learning English together can be very encouraging.
