Dear Friend, From next year onward there will be a CET(Common Entrance Test) for taking admissions in IITs, NITs and IIITs. And the minimum eligibility for this exam is as follows: -should be 12th appearing or pass student with minimum 60% marks and having PCM(Physics, Chemistry and Maths) as subjects. |

Minimum qualifications for engineering admission? hi, for iit jee exam there is atleast 60% marks in 12th with pcm group.....it is not compulsory that u took computer or english in other subject but others exam may be differ but iit follow this rule other exam follow its rule so if u r elligible than u can give jee exam best of luck |

yes u are surely eligible to give the exam and it is meant for people like u only..the minimum qualification for IIT-JEE is 60% aggregate in PCM and for AIEEE is 55% aggregate in PCM.. so work hard for scoring a good rank in both the exams.. hope this helps..

There is no requirment for aieee paper.You can get admission in NIT colleges with the help of AIEEE rank. You can give entrance paper BITS if you get 80% in 12th. Hi dude, Condition for admission in engineering pass 12th in maths science If you are student of science math with computer then you are eligible for admission in engineering for admission in best university you must got good rank in AIEEE,IIt-JEE. Ther is a condition for eligibility in IIT exam which is : In 12th you must got above 60% marks. |

Only the candidate who completed 12th standard with PCM stream are eligible for Engineering entrance exams. |

Requirements for IIT JEE : Minimum pass % of 60% in the science field. Irrespective of whether you had taken biology or computer science. For any other engineering exams : For different entrance exams conducted by different institutes the pass % varies. As for BITS its 80% in pcm. But it doesnt matter whether you had taken computer science or some other field. All that matters for engg is science field. |
