Re: Age limit to appear for M.Tech courses? I have already done M.tech with control engineering. And now I want to do m.tech with signal processing since I have completed my B.tech with ECE. I have qualified in gate also. Can i apply for m.tech now?will i be able to get stipend? Please need an urgent reply. Thanks, Anitha. |

Re: Age limit to appear for M.Tech courses? Master in technology courses is a technical degree and many institute conducts this programme. Some institute requires the GATE score card and some take direct admission. But if you qualify the GATE exam with a good marks then you can take admission in the M.Tech programme from a good and reputed institute like IITs and NITs. There is no upper age limittion for the GATE exam and also no any limitation in taking attempts. Notice has come for the GATE 2012. You will have to apply online and you can apply form 12 sep. |

Re: Age limit to appear for M.Tech courses? dear friend, You want to go for M.tech course after completion of B.tech course.. For that you have to appear in GATE exam.. Which is conducted by IIT's and UPSC every year.. The exam is generally held in the month of February.. Eligibility:- *The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in the field of - engineering/technology/Architecture.. Or, *The candidate must have complete the master degree in the field of - Science/MBA/MCA etc.. *There is no age limit to appear in GATE exam.. *No number of attempt restriction.. *The validity of GATE score is 2 years. *The candidate can also appear in GATE exam during the pre-final year or final year of graduation or post graduation course.. So, don't worry, there is no age limit to appear in GATE exam.. All the best.. |

There is no age criteria for M-TECH course. You can do it in any times .So for M-TECH course you must be qualify in GATE exam. GATE score is valid for TWO years. The eligibility criteria for M-TECH admission:- (a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent. (b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE. (c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only) (d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs). all the best. |

It is an exam conducted All over India for the entrance in M.Tech at All India level.It is an exam which can be given at any age of life and as many times as you wish. If you are asking any specific University entrance then let me know the name of University or College so that I can guide you in a better way. |

Re: Age limit to appear for M.Tech courses? hello friend INFORMATION REGARDING ADMISSION IN M.TECH COURSE After completing your B.tech program you will be eligible for appearing in m.tech exam And for taking admission in m.tech you need to appear in GATE exam. For appearing in GATE Exam there is no age limit so you can take admission in m.tech through gate exam rest if you want to know about age eligibility of a particular exam tht is conducted for M.tech admission you can ask here . |
