Even i faced the same problem.Most of the company's wont accept backlogs for attending interview. Not even for the written test the backlogs students are not applicable for writing the exam. So as now the supplementary exams are going.Pass through these exams or else you would lose many opportunities my friend. So take care on that backlog. All the best for your future endeavor's. You must clear all the backlogs before sitting in the campus placement. Most of the good companies hire only those who have good academic record and cleared all the papers. So yo must clear all the backlogs so that you can become eligible for campus placement . If your percentage is good after clearing backlogs then you can sit in campus placement. There are some small companies who can offer you job in spite of back logs but salary will be not as good as campus placement . So you can try in some other companies. All the best for your backlog examination. |

There are certain companies who allow the two backlogs...moreover there are companies too which don't set up any criteria for the placement drive..the only problem is the companies which set up such acriteria are not the best one or the market rulers... Try clearing out all your backs as soon as possible...Gud luck!!! |

Hi...im doing my final year..... i am having one backlog that too in 6th semester.....now im not allowed in campus placements...... can u please telll the top companies which wil accept 1 backlog...im having more than 70% consistently in graduate as well as in my school studies... |

Re: Am I eligible for placements if I have a backlog in 3-2? hiiiiiiiiiiii...... as you told that you have 2-3 backlogs,generally campus came to college in 4th year.so you are eligible for some companies,also before joining company you must clear all backlogs otherwise you are eliminated.there are some companies they see that you have not any backlogs in your career for those you are not eligible. thanks............... |

If you are attend to campus interviews in 4-1,you are not eligible for some companys,some companys give a chance for attending the interviews. You will try to clear first your blogs in next attempt,after that you are eligible for campuses.may this year software companys requires so many employs so by luck you will eligible for campusses,Try to thin in possitive way and clear yours backlogs next attempt. |

You are Not eligible for Placements because you have get Backlogs in your course, So please firstly clear your backlogs and then you are eligible to apply for Placements. You have get more than 2 backlogs, so its very difficult for you to sit in Placements. Because Many Top Companies was not allowed the Backlogs candidates. i hope u like this |

These can be varied from company to company and University to university. Some companies are are allowed. If you have 1 or 2 backlogs you will be eligible for placements. Otherwise first completed your backlogs and then go to placements. Good luck..... |

Re: Am I eligible for placements if I have a backlog in 3-2? dear friend don't worry. you are eligible for placement in good companies. but as you have 2-3 backlogs, so it may creates some problems in the placement of few reputed companies. as your past records are good, it helps you. 1st of all you need to clear your backlogs, because it is most important thing to clear it and you will be eligible to sit in the campusing of many reputed companies, which just need 60% marks in your all exams. |

Ya you have a good percentage in the 10th and the 12th board examinations but in the B.tech degree the percentage has gone down but then it is above 60% below which you could have been not eligible for many of the private as well as the govt firms .. But as you have 3-2 backlogs pending I would suggest you to clear those backlogs first or as soon as possible then go for the campus placements or the off-campus placements or if you want to go in any of the public sector.. Mostly all the private companies does not allow the candidates with a single backlog but there are few companies which would recruit you but they will ask you to clear your backlog as soon as possible ... After clearing your backlog you can become eligible for the placements in the companies like that of the TCS , Infosys , Wipro , L&T depending on your branch .. so best of luck ... |

Re: Am I eligible for placements if I have a backlog in 3-2? hi, sorry to say you that,a candidate must be without backlogs inorder to attend any campus placements...so,my friend your not eligible for campus placements.......you try to improve your aggregate upto 70-75% marks(without backlogs).....so you may appear for next time campus placements and you will not have to face this problem again.......gud luck. |

This is your final year if you have 2 to 3 back then how a company placed you? In what basis? But if your placement officer want then you get campus... You contact your placement officer and solve through them........... Good luck.............. |

If you have cleared all the backlogs then there are some companies which do accept this score. But you will still have to first clear the test conducted by them. It is important that you have good conceptual knowledge of the area you specialised in. |

Some MNCs like TCS ,CTS,Wipro,Microsoft,Infosys,IBM,Webel etc never like the backlogs holder. So,apply online or offline various companies after clearing the backlogs. |
