65% above in B.Tech is considered to be quite a good percentage and you are eligible for sitting for the campus placements of almost all the companies.. The top companies that you can sit for are :- TCS Accenture Infosys Syntel Wipro and many more.. IF you have good Academic record then you can apply for software jobs like hcl, ibm, wipro, tcs,siements etc which will provide good salary. You can also apply goverment jobs like ongc,jto,drdo,ecil,banks etc and if you are interst in higher studies you can write gate exam and study P.G course all the best |

Hello, Your B.tech result is good as more than 65%. how ever the campus drive like..: TCS,Wipro,Infosis,Cognizent, all are looking for through out carrer 60%to 65% as lower cut off. If you are elligible ..and you ll dffinitely attain the campus.. but the rest is depends on your performance.. good luck..~~~` |

Re: Will I get a good job after completing B.Tech CSE with 65 %? i pursuing b.tech (I.T) from dehradun.i have secured 68% aggregate till my pre-final year and have 75% in my class 10th and 52%in my class 12th.i am expecting to get overall % to be above 70 for my b.tech , is there any I.T companies for which i will be able give there exams and qualify.i hav gud communication skills and fair analytical and logical reason. |

The number of candidates passing out every year has gone up drastically and the number of job opening is half the percent of the eligible candidates. It is not always the mark that you have scored that count. There are other parameters like communication skill, reasoning skill etc. Now if you have a consistent performance in your academics and if you have the necessary skill set you will definitely get the job. |

Re: Will I get a good job after completing B.Tech CSE with 65+%? All top companies needs minimum 60% throughout graduation. A 60% in 10th and 12th is also required as the eligibility criteria. So chances that you will get most of the top companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, HCL etc. A sample paper of Aptitude Test is given here...find it in the attachment. |

The remaining lies in the aptitude test, HR and the interview.You are already qualified for it. So instead of worrying about the marks,try to focus on these aspects to improve your skills. Go for an inplant training to improve your employabilty skills. You can work out with AGGARWAL'S books for aptitude. Thank you!!! |

Well do not worry you have a very good percentage as it is above 60% which most companies want so if you have good communication skill and you are technical sound too then you will easily get job either through on campus placement or through off campus placement or both. Some of companies who hire CS students and their eligibility criteria :: TCS:: you must have 60% in class 10th ,12th and your BE. Should not have gap of more then 2 years after 12th. You should not have any live backlogs. INFOSYS:: you must have 60% in class 10th ,12th and your BE. Should not have gap of more then 2 years after 12th. You should not have any live backlogs. MICROSOFT :: you must have 70% in class 10th ,12th and your BE. Should not have gap of more then 2 years after 12th. You should not have any backlogs in any semester . There are many other companies like WIPRO,DEOLITES which are very good and give very good package . |

You can surely get a job in different software companies. Top companies like Wipro, TCS have eligibility criteria of minimum 60% marks. However Infosys has criteria of minimum 65% marks. So, there won't be any problem of eligibility with you. Other thing you should have is 60% marks in 10th board and 12th board exam. And you should not have any backlog at the time of applying for job. The other companies you can get job is HCL, Satyam, Tech Mahindra, Accenture etc. Now concentrate on the exam and do well All the Best |
