I also wanted to learn english like you i have just completed my 12 now i'm not studying further because of family restrictions ,financial problem... So i'm not attending college but it doesn't mean that i can't improve my english, communication skill, vocabularies at home i always try to improve my english if i see any word and i dn't know the meaning of that word so i search in dictionary... Dictionary is my best friend!! :-) So if u wanna learn and speak english the tips are: 1- Purchase general english book from the book store and concentrate on grammer and tenses are must. 2- Always consult dictionary for meaning and correct pronounciation. 3- Read english newspaper daily find 5-10 words from that then search that word's meaning and learn. 4- Always use english words in your conversation with others and first try to speak in english with yourself at home. 5- Read english magazines, books, articles and catch some words of english from that then learn the meaning to improve your vocabulary. Bt if you want to consult any institute or coaching so go ahead this is also better option....!!! GOOD LUCK FREIND :-) |

The important factor is how much you try to improve your communication skill. The Persons are categorized into two categories.. category 1 they are from english medium background but due to some local effects of mass area and all they did not concentrated on their speaking skills has theoritical knowledge but they lack in experimenting and using the theoritical knowledge.. Category 2 the persons who are from other languages background according to their mother toungue but has strong desire to learn the language (english) the students of category 1 there's no need of coaching at all they should concentrate on implementing their theoritical knowledge and slowly improving their skills the next category students must take coaching in the good institutes best wishes ~aditya~ |

Stand in front of a mirror and practice speaking to yourself in english..this way you wont have any embarrassment and you can talk even on silly topics, you need to tell yourself that i have to practice and don't worry about content .. in fact dont worry weather you speak right or wrong just speak. You can also practice in public ,don't miss any opportunity of conversing in English there are some people who really want to be able to speak english you can make a group of such people like a laughter club and practice speaking. And Books don't make sense for communication improvement , learn any language by just speaking .. learn some word meanings it would help so read a few newspapers and watch English movies and serials or news. best of luck |

You can start chatting with anyone on skype to improve your english. There are many sites where people come down to just interact. Also keep a target in your mind how much you want to improve in a month. keep that target. If any more help is required do reply. |

Re: Coaching for English Communication Skills? you can definitely join any coaching class to improve your spoken english. but i think better option is to read english newspaper and magazines regularly to increase your stock of words and vocabulary. another thing that you should must do is talk in english with your friends. do not feel shy for mistakes you do. every beginner does mistakes. watch english movies and observe whether you can understand their accent or not. |

Its not necessary you should go for coaching..In order to improve your communication skill in English, you should try talking to others in English eventhough you feel its wrong. Read newspapers daily and come across new words.Have a dictionary and find the meaning and try to implement it when you talk. There are various spoken English training Institutes you can adopt for, but without these above mentioned homeworks you will feel uncomfortable when you have conversation with dignitaries. So, practice well accordingly and join course if you need .Practice makes a man perfect. All the best. |

Dear friend, if you think that there is really important for your future to increase you skills in english or you are associated to any such kind of career where english skills are compulsory then you may take coachings for improvement in english but if your english is not too bad or you are not attached to such careers, then no need to wasting your time. As english is a a global language and you find really a problem to understand or to speak then you must join coachins for that. |
