dear from last two years there was no vacancies came in the jto most probably come in next year in the month of AUG.

ELIGIBILITY
JTO Eligibility

Eligibility:
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals would be eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications:
JTO (Telecom)
Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:
Telecommunication
Electronics
Radio
Computer
Electrical
Information Technology
Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply.
JTO (Civil)
Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.
Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply .
JTO (Electrical)
Applicant must possess a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.
Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply.

Age:
The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from
candidates. However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:

Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.;
BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the BSNL;
For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years;
For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;
For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years ; (for SC/ST 15 years and for OBC 13 years)
For certain other categories like ex-servicemen, displaced persons from East Pakistan[now Bangladesh], repatriates from Burma and Ceylon [now Srilanka],residents of Goa, Daman & Diu, persons migrated from Kenya, Uganda, Republic of Tanzania as per instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time in this regard.
For Residents of J&K - Relaxation shall be in accordance with DoP&T's Notification No.15012/7/1991-Estt.(D) dtd. 7.12.2007 pertaining to "Residents of State of Jammu and Kashmir (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit for Recruitment to Central Civil Services & Posts) Rules 1997".

SYLLABUS


Telecom Branch, Civil Branch, Electrical Branch.
Pattern of Syllabus: The whole syllabus will carry
Two section of Technical subjects and General Ability Test.
NOTE: General Ability Test are common for all branch (TELECOM ,CIVIL ,ELECTRICAL)

examination date of JTO exam,2011 is still not notified.

every year it is generally in the month of July-august.

so this year this exam may not be held.

Examination date of BSNL JTO examination is not yet released.The exam was not held this year so in the next recruitment you can find extra posts and extra candidates getting selected.You can find the notifications in the following page when it is released

The notification is even published in the weekly journal "Employment News".

Procedure to apply
The specimen of the application form is provided below. Neatly typed [only on one side of paper] copy in A4 size [30 cms. X 20 cms.] may be used for making application. The completed application form should be sent by Registered post to the authority concerned. The envelope containing application form should be marked “Application for J.T.Os(Telecom) Examination” OR “Application for J.T.Os (Civil) Examination” OR “Application for J.T.Os(Electrical) Examination”, as the case may be, in bold letters on top of the envelope even including the year of the examination.

An examination fee as told in the notification must be payed in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Senior Accounts Officer/Accounts Officer payable at the respective stations mentioned in the notification. The amount of fee shall not be accepted in any other form. Fees once paid shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection.

This is the normal procedure which the candidate's follow when BSNL JTO examination is held.The fee was Rs 750/- in the year 2009.It might get increased in the next year's examination

Pattern of the Examination
The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. The examination will be of three hours duration with one Question Paper containing the following three sections:-
For JTOs(any branch)
Section-I : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-II : Engineering stream : 50 questions
Section-III : General Ability Test : 20 questions

General ability includes Aptitude part along with Verbal Ability. I have attached both the syllabus regarding the examination.
