Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIIMS exam with PCM subjects,Also you must score 50% in aggregate.For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%. Your minimum age should be 17 years.MBBS course duration is above 5 years. There is no upper age limit for AIIMS exam . Re: What is the age limit for AIIMS exam? AIIMS Entrance exam is conducted for admission into undergraduate medical program - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). This exam conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. Candidates should have passed 12th with science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology from recognized Board and English as one of the main subjects. Candidate must have obtained 60% marks in aggregate in Chemistry, Biology, English and Physics. Age should be above 17 years to apply to appear in the exam. Reserve candidate should have pass 12th with minimum 50% marks in science subjects. |

Re: What is the age limit for AIIMS exam? AIIMS is All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. AIIMS conducts entrance examination everywhere for admission into MBBS course. If you have completed 10+2 with physics , chemistry and biology then you can apply for the entrance examination. The age should not be below 17 years of age and not above 25 years of age. The entrance examination will have questions from the 11th and 12th syllabus and you have to face questions from Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Through this exam you can take admission for MBBS ( Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery ) program. It is of five and a half year. The entrance test is conducted by AIIMS every year. Candidate want to apply for the entrance test must fulfill the following criteria: >>The age of candidate must be above 17 years. >>The candidate must pass his/her 12th class with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology from any recognized board with atleast 60% marks in PCB. >>There is relaxation for SC, ST and Physically Handicapped candidates in marks. They only require 50% marks in the Physics, Mathematics and Biology. >> The candidates who are appearing in 12th class can also apply for the exam. Eligibility Criteria: Age: He/She should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st December, of the year of admission Qualification: He/She should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/senior School Certificate Examination. > He/She should have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the case ofGeneral/OBC and 50% in case of SC/ST candidates in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The students passed with science stream with minimum 60% can apply for the examination. The minimum age limit for taking the entrance exam is 17 years. There is no such constrains in the maximum age limit for both undergraduate and post graduate exam. |

AIIMS Entrance Exam is divided into four sections. Generally, it is based on the syllabus of 12th class. a) Physics 60 questions b) Chemistry 60 questions c) Biology 60 questions d) General Knowledge 20 questions There is negative marking for questions. |
