Dear, Well, NASA(National Aeronautic & Space Administration) select those talents having experience, potential, motivation, communication skill and ability to function as a team. After a recognized degree you have to qualify a flight test record of a jet aircraft. NASA selector only need who know what is best in real time. Pls refer http://www.nasa.gov for more information. After college you need 3 years of related experience in your field. after degree and some experience its time to apply for astronauts positions.NASA recieces an averge of 4015 application to fill around 20 slots for every 2 years.and they call around 118 applicants from total for ASB interview based on experience potentioal motivation ability to function as team and communication skill. If applicant intersted in pilot or commandor position then instead of mission specialist then you have to go for at least 1000 hours of flight time in commant of a jet aircraft.These type of training you have to face and need to do in future that why many Many applicants do not meet medical standards while others withdraw after learning all that the job entails. After all these incidents Astronaut Selection Board chooses final candidates and pass to NASA and their decision will be final. Be prepare physically and Mentally as this not the 9-5 job which one expect but a 24 to 24 hr full dedication........ |

ELIGIBILITY --Must be a U.S. citizen. --Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited university in the U.S. or U.S. Territory. --Must be a rising sophomore or junior. --Must have earned and must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. --Must be pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. |

Is there any way to get admission in NASA after passing 12th? Which entrance test is to be answered? I am a student of 11th standard and i want to know if there is any way to get admission in N.A.S.A. through any admission test? |
