Sir my JECA 2014 ranking is 126(General category) and my marks in previous examinations are as follows 10th - 80% 12 (with maths) - 61.4% BCA - 59% Do I a have shot at doing MCA in any one of the government aided university or institution? |

Re: Percentage required to get admission in MCA, Jadavpur University? hello dear to get into the admission in MCA in jadavpur university,you have to qualify a competative exam,which is JECA. and you can appear this exam after your science graduation. the minimum 55% marks is requied to get admission in jadavpur. all the best.......... |

Eligibiltiy for JECA exam:- *The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade with 55% aggregate.. *The candidate must have maths or stats in 12th.. *If the candidate is from engineering filed then the candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the bachelor degree.. As you have secured less than 55% in graduation then you are not eligible for taking admission in Jadavpur University.. All the best.. |

Dear friend, Jadavpur University is one of the prestigious University in India.Criterion for this university is-- 1>55% marks in aggregate in Bachelor degree in 10+2+3 pattern (45% for SD/ST/OBC). 2>60% marks in aggregate in Bachelor degree in 10+2+4 pattern(50 % for SC/ST/OBC). NOTE:CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE MATHEMATICS IN THEIR UNDER GRADUATION Eligible students have to sit for the exam JECA conducted by W.B. board ,qualified students will be called for interview and then final selection will be made. Hi, To get admission in MCA in Jadavpur University the candidate must need to appear in JECA examination conducted by West Bengal Board. If the candidate passes the exam then only he can get admitted in Jadavpur University. Also the candidate needs to have at least 55% marks in graduation. Best Wishes.... |
