Sorry to tell you that girls are not eligible for NDA exam. Only boys are eligible The qualification required for NDA exam is 10+2 at high school level. All the candidates can write NDA exam there is no restriction regarding stream. Candidates must have take maths, physics and chemistry subjects only in 10+2 to apply for Airforce or Navy. The age limit for NDA exam is 16 1/2 - 19 years. As you are a girl you can't apply for NDA exam as said before. There is a good opportunity to join Defence after completing degree. You must appear for CDS exam conducted for gradution completed candidates. The age limit is there for each branch of defence i.e., For airforce it is 19 - 23 years For navy 19-22 years Military academy 19 - 24 years oficier's Training Academy 19 - 25 years All the male and female candidates can apply for CDS exam and it is conducted by UPSC board for 2 times in a year. All the candidates must not be married and must be physically and mentally fit. |

Eligibility criteria for the same is as under :- 1. Age-16.5 to 19 years. 2. 12th passed in any stream for Army. 3. 12th passed with Maths & Physics for Navy & Air Force. 4. Should be a citizen of India. 5. Students appearing in the 12th class can also apply for this exam. Attached here with the syllabus for the NDA Exam.... I hope this is useful for You........ Hey Buddy , As per the query mentioned from your side i would like to tell you that girls can not join NDA because they are not eligible for the same.The eligibility Criteria UPSC has set to join NDA which a girl cannot fulfill it is : a} Only unmarried male candidates can join whose age is in between 16.5 - 19 years. Dear There , No Girls cannot join NDA because they are not eligible for NDA exam , because as per the eligibility criteria Set By The Union Public Service Commission , only male candidates who are under the age group 16.5-19 years and are unmarried are eligible for the examination. Is there any restriction for girls? sorry to say but, NDA is not for the girls,but there are many ways for girls inh the indian army, for graduation you can apply for CDS exam, SSC, UES,MERCHANT NAVY, AIR FORCE etc. Above named are the Entries you can Made only after your graduation. Even if you have NCC 'C' certification then from this also you can made a SSB Entry which is a direct Entry mode. Except for CDSE exam all other Exams are Direct . Direct means you will face SSB directly after applying for that particular Entry. More Information of any of these Entry @ indianarmy.nic.in |

Even if you have NCC 'C' certification then from this also you can made a SSB Entry which is a direct Entry mode. Except for CDSE exam all other Exams are Direct . Desirous female candidates can join Indian defence Forces by appearing in Short Service Commission (SSC) examination, which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Both male and female candidates within the age limit of 19 to 23 years can apply for the examination. |

The Basic eligibility criteria are as follows : (1)Only Unmarried Male candidate are allowed. (2) Educational qualification: Generally 12th pass with mathematics ,physics and chemistry from a recognized board or university. (3)Age Criteria: Candidate having age between 16.5 to 19 years are allowed Best of Luck |

DEar friends... • No, girls are not eligible to apply for NDA examination, Only unmarried males between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for NDA examination. But if you are interested then you can apply for CDSE examination But for this you have to clear the SSC examination and after clear the SSC exam, you will get chance to join army. But to appear in this examination, your age not less than 21 years. And you can join also with the help of University entry scheme, So please apply for these examination, and if you want to get complete detail, thenplease visit the official website. • Education Qualification For the CDSE candidate should be graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
