Re: Best stream in engineering in coming four or five years All the fields has vast opportunities but it depend upon your interest, choose the field according to ur interest and u will yourself create opportunity...but i recommend you to go with CSE as this will be the hot favorite and have got vast job opportunities. |

Re: Best stream in engineering in coming four or five years sir, i have done 3 years engg.diploma from i.t,but now i want to do b.tech from electronics.so,is it benificial to go from IT to electronics?and will i get the benifits of both I.T(diploma) and electronics(b.tech) in my job. |

If u study in that dept with real zeal and interest in that field , the career opportunities will be amazing irrespective of the dept . Anyway in the present trend Mechanical is the best n evergreen branch in which career opportunities will be more both in the private and public sector . The main point is for Mechanical Engineering Core jobs are very more as compared with any other branch and it is always evergreen . So frn I suggest you Mechanical Field if you are interested . |

Re: Best stream in engineering in coming four or five years HI, FRIEND SEE WHAT people do in college at the time of admissions, where the bulk people goes in particular branch there only a guy opt to go, its not a way is now go with your interest and if you have interest in a particular field as if you are interested in electrical parts , to repairing n all go for electrical now comes to your question is which one will be good in next 4 to 5 years right? the answer is as now the scenario is 1.mechanical engineering 2.electrical engineering but i must say every branch is having its own issue and..god know..as you have seen IT SECTOR goes down without having any prior notice , so any branch can falloff and go on... so take care of your interest, don go there where placements and money go with only interest regards ~~ |

Re: Best stream in engineering in coming four or five years In the current senerio CS,EC,and IT are dominating but we look for future the best branch is Civil because india is a developing country and a lot go construction will took place in near future. then Electrical as almost every state is lagging in Electricity demand so it will give boost to this branch. the other branches are mechanical, chemical. |

And Information Technology. Scope in future:- Now-a-days as recession is going on so it's better to choose core streams. But after 3-4 years it's market value will be much better. 2) Core Stream :- Generally consists of the streams like ME,Civil,EE,ECE,EEE etc. These streams are always among the best streams and have a good future after 4-5 years. So, as you are asking for the best stream after 4 or 5 years you should go for Computer sc. & engg. or ECE or ME. |

But as of now and next 5 years i would suggest you the hybrid branches such as instrumentation or electrical-electronic engineering. So for now u need to think in one direction and choose ur branch. Re: Best stream in engineering in coming four or five years every stream is good for engineering. you have to choose that stream in which you have own interest and knowledge. if you are good in any one then you can go so far with this. but recently there is trend among the student towards electronics and communication engineering. so many student are going to this field. job opportunity and scope both are good for this stream. mechanical engineering and civil engineering are evergreen branch of engineering. always good scope is available for these stream. recently computer science and IT is in under the mark. market is not so much good for these branch. as a result a very few number of student taking information. so i think after three or four years there will be shortage of computer engineer. but the demand will be very high because then market will be good. so i think it is better to choose this stream. there are so many branch in which field also very good like aeronautical engineering, chemical engineering, production engineering etc. choose that branch in which you have interest. best of luck. |

U should follow what u want to be. Don't see which is stream is better or not. Thank you |

Actually all the stream in the engineering has its own value but the main thing is market position. the demand of stream will be varies with the market condition not as per interest. Now a day computer science/IT stream has good market.....But mechanical, civil, Electrical are the evergreen branch. These are fixed market values as there are not any fluctuation in the market of these field. But i suggest choose stream of you choice because you have to handle it for 4year. |

Their must be 2 or 3 name for suggestion you have to choose the one in which you have interest. 1. Mechanical : most demanding in theses days .A lot of govt jobs then CSE & IT. like in ONGC etc. 2. Electronics & Communication : demanding & tuffer than all other branches . Have a lot of jobs in govt. sector likje in BHEL , IOCL , BSNL etc. 3. Information Technology/CSE : India in too forward in software industry . India is in 3rd ranking of software industry. Their are a lot of MNC's and private companies offers a great package. IT: software,animation,java,ssp,ab.net.broad band communication CSE:core hardware,automata,core operating system. |
