hi, I am third year civil engineering student. I want to join Indian Airlines or Air India my age is 25yr, Am I eligible for it? How should I join the fields? Which exams are there? when these exams are conducted? what is the syllabus for them & how to prepare for them?
please suggest.

For GOVT. you have to qualify the entrance exam like:-
-I.A.S
-I.P.S
-RAILWAYS
-I.E.S
-ARMY
-NAVY
-AIR FORCE
-B.S.N.L
-O.N.G.C
-D.R.D.O
etc

if you want to become Central govt employee.

UPSC gives Opportunities.
NDA also shares a few opportunities.
Indian Railways will welcome you too.

if you want to become a local state government employee.

there are opportunities from

state public service commissions.
etc.,

if you are looking for a job from Private administered government firms then .

the companies like

BHEL,
ECIL,
BEL

Hi friend,
You are completely eligible for applying govt. jobs as you are a student of civil engineering.You can try for some special exams like UPSC exams or public sector exams.

some special companies:
SAIL
BHEL
ECIL
HAL
you can also try for IES.

Of course there are so many Govt. jobs for the civil Engineers like -

1.NTPC
2.BHEL
3.ONGC
4.IOCL
5.Electricity board
6.ISRO
7.BEL
8.ECIL

Otherwise you can go for the UPSC exams .

hii definately you can try for the civil service jobs in the central government.you will get good job here, with very high salary job.

just log on to the http://www.upsc.gov.in website for complete details later you can also go to the good sectors here.



you can also go to the state government jobs in the KPSC sector here also you will get good jobs with maximum salary with all the benefits.

all ready there are 50 civil posts been called in the year 2011 , you can easily apply them in there official website ,http://www.kpsc.kar.nic.in

also you can try up in good companies like the BHEL,BEL wher you have good value for applying.surely government jobs are best .

apply to all as soon as you can .

dear friend,

You have just completed your graduation degree so you are eligible for maximum no of govt sector exam.

You are eligible for UPSC exam.UPSC contain large no of exams.

Also you are eligible for DRDO,ISRO,IES exam.

The another good govt jobs are BANK PO and DEFENSE sector.

So don't worry you should read employment news daily and get the govt sector job for civil engineer.

my interested field i.e., Research in research organisations like DRDO and all are also open for you.

don't think that as a civil engineer you are not that qualified for jobs in the firms like BHEL or ECIL
No its not the fact.
Civil Engineer is necessary by every firm. So they will definitely recruit you Civil engineers.

But I suggest you to aim for UPSC exams like
IES : Indian Engineering services
Civil Service Exam which is for posts like IAS/IPS/IFS etc.,

these two should be your top choices.
