General Awareness is the very important topic for any compitative exam. for preparing General Awareness paper,you should solved previous question papers, read newspaper, watch T.V news channel,current affirs, concentrate on economical portion and marketing. some good books like quiz book,pratiyogita vikas and pratiyogita darapen are available in the market. Allways last six or one years G.A question comes in bank exam. I am attaching some General Awareness solved paper. you can take help from these papers. it will be helpful for you to understand pattern of g.a papers. |

For that you must have vast general knowledge ... To gather knowledge you have to read daily newspaper.. Try to aware with all the current affairs those are happening in our country. You should cover the following topics:- 1. International affairs 2. National affairs 3. Awards 4. Sports 5. Books and authors 6. Persons in news etc. The books that will help you:- 1. Re: How to prepare for General Awareness for PO Exam? hello, IN Bank PO exam, general awareness section consists of current affairs (within 6 months only) on; -national events -international events -economic events -books and authors -sports -appointments -bilateral events -trades -banking affairs to prepare for this you can take help of some books on current affairs; -general knowledge and current affairs by R.Gupta -lucient general knowledge -general awareness by R.S.Agarwal you can also take the help of some monthly magazines -pratiyogita darpan -pratiyogita kiran -banking and you -banking service chronicals you can also prefer THE HINDU newspaper and 8:15 news of DD NATIONAL.... |

This is the section in which one can score more marks and one can answer these questions in less time. Because just by having a glance over the question, one can easily guess the answer for that question if the candidate is having some knowledge regarding that. To score high in this area, one should be strong enough in -National affairs -International affairs -Awards -Sports -Bilateral affairs -Books and authors -Persons in news You can collect information on these aspects from daily news papers and news channels and various magazines especially for current affairs. Recently under general awarenes, specifical reference is being given to banking industry. So, one should need to develop command on various banking products and other terminology of banking. Rather than gaining knowledge on the above aspects, continuous updation of information on those aspects is very much essential. |
