Syllabus for the IES exam: General English: The question paper in General English will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding of English and workmanlike use of words. General Studies: The paper in General Studies will include knowledge of current events and of such matters as of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature which candidates should be able to answer without special study. R.S.Agarwal book is the best book to prepare for general studies. All the best. |

Which are the books to be followed? for ies exam there is no need to join any coaching center you should to have self confidence after that trying to prepare your notes of each subject with min. 2-3 standard books(one for theoretical and other for numerical basis) , solve previous year unsolved questions, and with taking 8-10 hr. time per day you can crack ies exam. For general studies you should follow unique for IAS this will give you a basic knowledge after that go through NCERT books of class XII. |

Hii The IES, Engineering Services Examination, conducted by the UPSC, every year for the recruitment to the four categories of engineering services- Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics & telecommunication Engineering So, if you are Interested to prepare for this exams, then i will suggest you just join the best coaching centre for the preperation of this exams. Because this exams was not easy, and you have to required lots of practice. The best way is to join some good coaching classes and they will tell you the best way to solve the question in this exams as well as they will provide you the best study material, to get sucess in this exams. So, i will suggest you,, just join some coaching institutes, who will prepare you the best for IES exams. I will gives you some best Coaching institutes name, who will prepare for students for IES Exams. Good luck..! |
