You should have to fulfill the listed below criteria:- mostly companies demand to have 60% through out in your academic session. You should not have any backlog. you should have passed graduation with minimum 60% of marks. you should have good communication skills. You should have good command on english. I hope you got it. |

Each college have its own CGPA to percentage conversion formula, if its 10x in your case, then you have 65.8%. Whatever is your conversion rate, make sure, your marks are above 60%. If you can pull your marks upto 65% and above, then it would be more help ful for you as few companies like Infosys do keep cut off as 65%. meeting this eligibility, you will be able to sit for GD and PI If you do well in GD and PI, you may get the job. Re: Is it possible to get a good job in IT company after scoring 6.58 CGPA? dear friend, For getting a good job in IT sector you must have the following educational criteria :: 1. at least 60% or more than 60% in 10th,12th,graduation,post-graduation. 2. having good communication skills 3. having strong technical skills. Till now you have 6.58 in you graduation means not 60%,it is about 58.3% which means till now you are not eligible for good IT companies. So prepare for it at first and then prepare for your campussing. There are in general three section for campus selection : 1. Aptitude test,it may be online or may be offline,generally online. 2. Technical Interview. 3. HR round, Personal Interview. all the best. |

Note: Companies like IBM requires 65% in B.Tech. 2. Good Communication skills and soft skills. 3. Good Confidence.Added to the above requirement, you must be qualify in a written test, group discussion, technical interview and Personal interview.Gaint IT Companies like Wipro, Infosys and TCS takes based on only written, technical and personal interviews whereas IBM takes group discussion also. |

You have completed your B-TECH in IT. But your graduation marks is must be 60% above because below mention organization have criteria is above 60% in graduation . This percentage is vary from organization to organization. So you have many options to go like govt sector ,private sector or higher study also. The govt sector options are -DRDO , BARC , ONGC , ISRO , NIC , IGDR , BSNL JTO etc.The age limit for those organization is maximum 30 years .Age relaxation provide only for SC/ST /OBC candidate. The other govt jobs are UPSC exam and BANK PO exam. Also you are eligible in private sector also . the private sector company are TCS ,CTS ,IBM,HP,L&T,ALUNUS ,WIPRO etc. The higher study options are MS , MBA ,M-TECH ,JRF ,SRF ,PHD etc. Also you must be qualify in GATE ,CAT,MAT exam. Beside this you should not have any pending backlogs during graduation.. As you have mentioned that you have secured 6.58 CGPA in B.tech course then you are not eligible for the campus drive of leading IT companies.. Because 60% aggregate means you at least have 6.67 CGPA.. so, try to cover the mention CGPA by doing well in the rest of semesters.. Otherwise you will not be eligible.. All the best. |

Re: Is it possible to get a good job in IT company after scoring 6.58 CGPA? hello dear it is possible to get a good job in IT company after scoring 6.58 CGPA. if rule of your university to convert CGPA is equal to percentage of marks. as some university they have rules like you have to deduct .75 marks from CGPA to get percentile marks. so, in this case you will not be eligiable for the most of the companies. as maximum MNC IT company give 60% through out of academic criteria. so in those cases you will not be eligiable to apply for those companies. all the best......... |

Yes ofcourse you can get a good job in IT sector, bcoz working in IT sector is all about knowledge that you have regarding the languages that u hav learned. A IT industry always seeks good output for the training given to you, and if can work upto the mark and prove yourself to be efficient enough in that field, you would be given great emphasis and priority.sSo remember one thing that what ever you learn you should be thorough with it, we can achieve a good job of your dream. |
