4.logical questions

5.computer awareness



The time duration for exam is 2 1/2 hrs

Total questions 200 questions

IBPS will publish the results within 2 months and the selected candidates


undergone personal interview which will be held i n their metros cities..

kindly guide me what type of ques. will be asked for the interview of ibps clerical cadre 2012 as I have pased the written exam also inform me about the cut off marks.... as my status is showing pass and there is no marks detail and that is being sent to me via speed post. IBPS is conducting the common written exam for 19 public sector banks
working in India, for which the minimum eligibility criteria is;
-a candidate should be 10th with 60% or 12th with 50% or graduate
from any recognised university
-age should have between 18-28

IBPS clarical exam question paper holds 5 major parts as;
maths, reasoning, english, computer and general awareness with
banking and economic terms....

In my opinion , the candidate must score at least 50% in each part separately, so focus on every subject and best of luck to all my friends.

The IBPS exam is conducted for across 19 public sector banks.The IBPS exam is consists of topics
1.Aptitude and reasoning questions.
2.General awareness questions.
3.General english questions.
4.Descriptive section.
The exam consists of 250 questions and one descriptive question.The some of important books are for preparation are

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR BANK CLARK


I. Nationality / Citizenship:

A candidate must be either -

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the
intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka,
East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
(formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and
Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India,
provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a
person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of
India.


II Age:-


Minimum: 20 Years

Maximum: 30 Years

The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates.

Relaxation of Upper age limit


1.> Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe 5 years.

2.>Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) 3 years.

3.>Persons With Disabilities 10 years.

4.>Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers.


WRITTEN EXAMINATION

Written Examination Structure:-

1.>Reasoning 50 question 50 marks.

2.> English Language 50 question 25 marks.

3.>Quantitative Aptitude 50 question 50 marks.

4.>General Awareness (with special reference to Banking Industry) 50 question 50 marks.

5.>Computer Knowledge 50 question 50 marks.

Up to that time is 150 mins.

Descriptive Paper on English Composition (Essay, Précis, Letter Writing etc)
25 question 60 marks.

Total 250 question 250 marks.

There are 5 types of questions in IBPS clerical examination.

>>Numerical type

>>Computer query

>>Marketing type

>>Reasoning.

>>General awareness

This was the 1st section and in the 2nd section there will be descriptive type of questions and you will have 1 hour for that part.
