GATE is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This examination is held to test the understanding of different engineering and science subjects. The examination is held by IIT for the admission of candidates in M.Tech course and PSUs. The eligibility criteria for GATE are:- ><The candidates should have a B.Tech/B.E degree from a recognized university. Re: For which category am I eligible in GATE if I am from NT category? I have to apply for gate exam 2019. For cut off list , they have not mentioned cut off list for VJNT caste. So , for which category should I select while filling gate form? |

In the exams held by the central government means the exams like GATE , IIT-JEE , AIEEE , UPSC , and other exams under the central government THE NOMADIC TRIBES ARE INCLUDED IN THE OBC ( OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES ) CATEGORY. But which document submiting for the gate exam....plzzzzz help me. |

Re: For which category am I eligible in GATE if I am from NT category? dear friend , NT category is that is NOMADIC TRIBES is the category which comes under the OBC other backward classes in the exam of the GATE ( graduate aptitude test in engineering). THERE ARE DIFFERENT SUB CATEGORIES ARE INCLUDED IN THE NOMADIC TRIBES. under the NOMADIC TRIBES there are three parts of it based on the reservation like 1) NT-1 2) NT-2 3) NT-3. in the exams held by the central government means the exams like GATE , IIT-JEE , AIEEE , UPSC , and other exams under the central government THE NOMADIC TRIBES ARE INCLUDED IN THE OBC ( OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES ) CATEGORY. thanks and best luck |

This is because NT category is used in Maharashtra in general. One thing I want to tell you is that please contact your nearby IITs because every year IITs organised the GATE examination. Re: For which category am I eligible in GATE if I am from NT category? hi friend GATE exam is the entrance exam conducted for admission into masters in engineering course. Through GATE you can get into colleges all over India. For admission into the degree programme there are few quotas namely general, BC,MBC,SC,ST etc. There is no quota like Nt so you can apply in general category. |

GATE stands for Graduation Aptitude Test for Engineering. -it is conducted every year for taking admission in M.TECH. - you can apply in final year. - GATE score only valid for 1 year. - There is no limit in how many years to complete engineering. - there is no cut off in percentage to apply for the gate exam - there is no age limit for applying for gate exam . - though gate exam you get admission in IIT AND NIT COLLEGES AND SEVERAL OTHER COLLEGES . - to take admission in IIT OR NIT COLLEGES you need to score above 99 percentile . - to clear gate exam you should have good knowledge of your subjects . - join a gate forum for good preparation . From 2012 pre-final year student can not apply for the GATE EXAM ,only final year student can apply for it. All the best.. |

Re: For which category am I eligible in GATE if I am from NT category? i think NT category is only used in Maharastra. in GATE there is no such category. so you have to choose the general category i think. NT category is not enlisted in central government. so you can not use it to apply for GATE examination. to be confirm call to zonal IIT Office GATE chairman. he will provide you exact details on this and will suggest you an exact way. contact details of GATE zonal office is available in the GATE information brochure just go to any IIT website and download the GATE information brochure. |

For which category am I eligible in GATE if I am from NT category? i have catagary NT [ 4m maharastra ] but which is not available in gate appln form so which catagary i feel plz reply. |
