Re: How to become an Astronaut? hello To Become An Astronauts the minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering, science or mathematics from an Recognised institution. So, If Anyone excellent physical condition who meets the basic qualifications can be selected to enter astronaut training. For Pilot astronauts must have at least 1,000 hours of experience in jet aircraft, and they need better vision than mission specialists. So, if you have a Bacholar Degree in engineering, biological sciences, physical sciences, mathematics, then you can apply for an Astronauts. |

Good academic qualifications like graduate, post graduate & Phds. 3. You must be from the science side in your graduation like medicine, biology, chemistry, physics, aerospace engineering and mathematics. 4. At least 3 years experience is needed to work as a mission specialist. 5. If you wish to be a mission pilot,you have at least 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft, preferably with flight-test experience, 6. You'll have to pass the strict NASA physical as a basic qualification |

Re: How to become an Astronaut? hi astonomy is new engineering hence anything which is new hence companies are less hence to get job also is difficult now to get into big company like NASA you have work relly hard you have to very fit physically you sould do 1000 hrs of jetflying and you must hace done graduation or preferably masters for more information you can visit NASA site all the best this is very unique dream |

This includes a bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution in engineering, science or math’s. A Masters degree is more preferred. Lot of hard work is involved in this preparation.
