oth IPS and IFS exam is conducted by UPSC .
Notified age criteria for general candidates are = 21 to 30 years .
5 years relaxation given for sc/st category ,that means age limit for sc/st categories is 21 to 35 years .
3 years relaxation for OBC categories ,that means age limit for OBC categories is 21 to 33 years .

Educational qualification required = graduation from any recognized university .

Age limit for OBC candidates for IPS and IFS :

The age of the candidate will be allowed between 21 to 33 years.
But for general candidate it should be within 21 to 30 years.
And for SC/ST it is 21 to 35 years.

hello friend,

eligibility for IAS/IFS exam is;

-a candidate should be graduate from any recognized university or
an appearing candidate can also apply for the exam

-age should be between 21-30 for general and upper age limit is
for OBC candidate is 33 and for SC/ST is 35 years

-number of attempts is limied for general as 4, for OBC 7 and
no limit for SC/ST candidate

Here is the age criteria to be eligible for civil services examination.

-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for civil services examination (for General).

-A candidate of OBC should be in the age group of 21-33 years to be eligible for Civil services examinaton
- a candidate of SC\ST category there is the relaxation of 5 years .

Dear friend,

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.

AGE CRITERIA:


For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 27 years
For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years

For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years.

NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS:


4 attempts for General category candidates
7 attempts for OBC category candidates
Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates

The only way to jon IAS, IPS and IFS is through civil services examination which is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

Candidates will also be admitted to IRS through civil services examination.

Here is the age criteria to be eligible for civil services examination.

-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for civil services examination (for General).

-A candidate of OBC should be in the age group of 21-33 years to be eligible for Civil services examinaton

-Candidates who belong to SC/ST category should be in the age group of 21-35 years to be eligible for civil services examination.

-Relaxation in upper age limit upto 10 years for the candidates of blind, deaf, mute and orthopedically handicapped candidates.

-Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of Ex-Serviceman.

For IAS and IPS, one should be a native of India.
