Sir,
there are lot of opportunities in private as well as in govt. sector after B.E.
In private, lot of private companies came for campus placement during forth year of B.E. and they select the candidate via written test which is called aptitude test and then HR & Technical interview. If he/she select then there is good but if not then apply to other companies by submitting your resume. Some electronic companies are:
L.G. electronics
Samsung Electronics
L & T infotech
Intel Corp. etc.

In govt.
BHEL
NTPC
GAIL
DRDO
Doordarshan
Aakashwani
Railway etc.

I am studying III year ECE. I come to know that there are some Chennai Companies recruiting employees conducting themselves exams and interviews and selecting. pls. inform me the list of such companies

you are a ECE student so you can go Your field like

BSNL
Dell
HP

you can apply government jobs like

1.Bank
2.UPSC
3.SAIL
4.ECIL
5.AAI
6.BSNL
7.ISRO

if you have interest in M.Tech than you can go throigh gate exam
if you score above 98% in gate exam than you can chance in IIT
if you score abone 95% in gate exam than you can chance in NIT

As u are doing B.E. in ECE engineering so there are a lot of oppertunities to chose your job. You can join government sectors , Private software sectors and also the Banking sectors.

In Government sectors you can prefer working in companies like :
1.BSNL
2.ISRO
3.DRDO
4.ECIL
5.Indian Railways

In private Software Sectors you can work in companies like :

1.WIPRO
2.ACCENTURE
3.TECH MAHINDRA
4.TCS
5.CTS
6.INFOSYS
7.MICROSOFT

And lastly in banking sectors you can work in banks like:

1.SBI
2.HSBC
3.ICICI
4.AXIS BANK
5.UCO BANK

etc etc....

So you can now chose any field you like and start working........
