Re: Am I eligible for UPTET Exam having secured 44.1% in Graduation? dear friend, Uttar pradesh TET exam have two levels- 1.Primary level:- The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade with 45% marks.. 2.Upper primary level:- The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade with 50% marks and valid B.ed certificate.. There is no upper age limit... So, go for it... |

My dear friend actually UPTET has two section and I have mentioned it below : 1. Primary Level, 2. Upper Primary Level. See for Primary level there is no need of B.Ed. certificate. But for Upper Primary Level B.Ed certificate is must and you have at least 50% in Graduation. So you can attempt the examination of UPTET but only for Primary Level not for Upper Primary Level. But my suggestion to you go for it in this year. all the best. |

Re: Am I eligible for UPTET Exam having secured 44.1% in Graduation? dear friend, Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) is conducted every year by Uttar Pradesh State Government.This is compulsory for private school also. If any private school appoint any teacher without TET pass then school’s affiliations from any board will be canceled. The old teachers of Govt. and private school do not need to pass TET exam for continue their job. They will be considered as TET pass candidate if they change their school. TET Examination in UP will start in September 2011 , but in other states it was over in June. Generally TET examination consists of three papers these are Paper-1, Paper-2 and Paper-3. There are two levels in TET examination and these are : 1. Primary Level, 2. Upper Primary level. Minimum 50% aggregate of a candidate is eligible for Upper Primary Level and less than this is eligible for Primary Level. So you will be eligible for Primary Level. all the best. |
