Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entrance exam for Chartered Accountancy Course Exam pattern :- 2 hours each of two papers you need to get at least 55% in overall session and 30% in each subject......to crack cpt.. Syllabus:- session I Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks. session II Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks. Eligibility:-- minimum 12 th pass or even graduates are too allowed.. CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of JUNE and SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER |

Re: Details and procedure to appear for the next CPT online exam? hi dear cpt exam is conducted twice in a year june & december . the candidates after +2 can appear for cpt - common proficiency test. as you have given in june so you can appear in december it will better for you . you can prepare your self to get success. there are two sitting of 200 marks in total pass mark is 100 marks. for any more details you can go for website good luck.......... |

Re: Details and procedure to appear for the next CPT online exam? CPT is entry level test for chartered accountancy course. Those who are registered with Institute of Chartered Accountants of India can take this. You can register yourself for CPT after passing class 10th board exam. But you will be eligible to appear for this exam once you complete you 10+2 level study. CPT paper consists of MCQ type questions from the subjects Accountancy, Mercentile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude of total 200 marks. You can register yourself online visiting the official website. Fill the form. Pay the requisite amount of fee. Take print out of the given form. CPT exam is for Chartered Accountancy Course.CPT is an objective type test to be held every February, May, August and November .It is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Indiafor this course and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions.It mainly cover four subjects : Accounting Mercantile Laws General Economics Quantitative Aptitude. The test is of 200 marks. This test is divided into two sessions of two hours each. Alternatively the candidate may fill up the examination application form online at http://www.icaiexam.icai.org/ from 4thApril,2011 ( 10:00 hrs) to 25thApril, 2011 ( 17:30hrs) and remit the fee online by using either VISA or Master Credit / Debit Card.
