Definitely you can apply for a pg education at an Ayurvedic University in India as a foreigner
There are so many institutes all over India:
one of the most important college is:Gujrat Ayurved University,Jamnagar

Some good characteristics of that college are:
1:They provide short term Ayruvedic courses for Foreigners.
2:There are PG centre in Ayurveda having independent Pharmacology Laboratory.
3:They also provide M. Pharm (Ayu.), M.Sc. (Med. Plants),MD / MS in Ayurveda Courses
4: As well as Ph.D. course in Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical sciences.

In most Universities, There are few seats in PG education in ayurveda alloted for foreign students. It happens on the special recommentation of Government of India. But the no. of seats and admission to those seats vary with different universities. check with the universities or institutes of your preference for their admission procedure.

You can apply through nri quota under ima association.
Otherwise seek the admission procedures in the medical college you want.

The general procedure for admission in all the ayurvedic colleges in India is the same for foreign nationals. you should be able to provide them with your certificates and should also be able to speak the required amount of English and Hindi as required by the course. These days you are also required to get an AIDS test before applying for the university. Foreign nationals are exempt from taking the entrance examination and their admission is decided upon merit basis. Usually there is a 5% quota for foreign nationals. One more important point is that the university from which you have done this course should be recognized by the Indian government and you should also have a students visa applicable for the time limit the course is for.

hello, does anybody know, how to apply ( as a foreigner) for a pg education at an ayurvedic university in India? I'm a graduate in medicine and would like to expand my knowledge in ayurvedic medicine.Thank you!
