Yes,Of course you can apply for CLERK job in govt. sector Since you have above 60% marks in 19th and 12th standard examination Eligibility criteria : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate should carry minimum 60% marks in 10th and 12th standard. 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate should be within 18 to 28 years. Re: Can I do a Clerk Job in Government bank having secured 84% in 10th, 71% in 12th? Of course, Friend... You can appear for the IBPS [INSTITUTE OF BANKING & PERSONNEL SELECTIONS] clerk posts. The minimum educational requirement for this examination is a 12th degree with at least 60%. As, you have got very good marks, so you will not face any kind of problem.. The age limit for this examination is 18-27 years,., there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively.

Re: Can I do a Clerk Job in Government bank having secured 84% in 10th, 71% in 12th? dear friend, Eligibility for clerk job in government bank sector:- 1.The candidate must have complete the 12th or its equivalent in any trade from a recognized central/state board.. 2.The candidate should have secured 60% aggregate through out the career. 3.The age should be in between 18-28 years.. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.. As you have secured good percentage of marks in 10th and 12th then you are eligible for the exam. All the best. |

For applying to clerical jobs in bank, you need only a minimum of 60% marks. So there is no problem in applying in banks for clerical entrance examination. But then you need to prepare for these exams, either through coaching centers or by solving the sample questions yourself. Without clearing the entrance exam you won't be able to get a clerk post. |

From this academic year, IBPS is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of clerks for all public sector banks except for SBI and SBI Associate Banks. SBI and SBI Associate Banks have their own separate notification for the recruitment of clerks. Here is the eligibility criteria for IBPS Exam. Academic Qualification : -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream or -One should have secured a minimum of 50% of marks in 10+2 or -One should have secured a minimum of 60% of marks in 10th standard. Age criteria : -One should be in the age group of 18-28 years to be eligible for IBPS Clerk Exam. As per this criteria, you are eligible to appear for IBPS Clerk Exam.
