Re: Which book is recommended for CSAT preparation(Containing basics of Aptitude Test)? I am giving this peice of information so that other's dont make the same mistake I did. Dont buy the prelims study material offered by RAU's study circle because it is not comprehensive and neither up to date and also very badly arranged. Specially their material for CSAT II seems as if it has been compiled specially to ensure that no one depending on their books should pass. I have not yet given prelims, but I know I made a mistake buying the books from RAU's STUDY CIRCLE. |

Re: Which book is recommended for CSAT preparation(Containing basics of Aptitude Test)? Aptitude is not the only thing in csat but there are other books as well... For Aptitude I would suggest R.S, Agrawal. It is one of the best books I have come across and know it from my personal Experience. Arihant's books on aptitude would also help a lot. Other than aptitude I would suggest go through the basic NCERT textbooks and it should more than satisfy the need. Eventually no matter how many books you go through it comes to practice in the end, especially in case of aptitude. Hope you do well, Best regards. |

It is a all-in-one book for civil services prelims covering all the topics like History, Geography, Polity, Economy, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Mental Ability, Facts, and more. It is very useful for finding all information at one place. For general studies you can refer the following books as under- 1. Our Constitution by Dr. Subhash Kashyap 2. Certificate Course in Geography by Goh Cheng Leong 3. NCERT Books on Geography from IX standard to XII standard 4. Indian Economy by Rudra Dutt and Sundaram or Mishra & Puri 5. Pratiyogita Darpan (for Indian Economy) 6. Economic Dictionary by Penguin or Collins 7. India Year Book published by Government of India 8.
