Re: Minimum percentage required in Btech for Indian Engineering Service exam?

Hi Buddy,
There is no minimum percentage criteria for attending the IES Exam. Your selection purely depend upon the performance in the test and interview. Only some Government Organizations like BHEL, ONGC, ISRO have minimum percentage criteria and their selection is based on PSUs Exams, Gate and not IES.
All the best. Prepare with 100% confidence for IES, U will get through.

Re: Minimum percentage required in Btech for Indian Engineering Service exam?

indian engineering services exam almost relevant to GATE exam but don't have any restriction on the percentage at graduation or post graduation stage

it's better to not think about this exam if anyone at 45 to 50% sorry for frankly writing

because the competition will be very tough and you can't get through it if you're with that percentage

in the first attempt getting job is very lucky and rare too

even the subject only matters in the exams like this but with out minimum of 60% its a real time waste in your career and very stress full too

Hi friend,

You don't have any minimum percentage in engineering for participating

in IES exam. Just a pass in Engineering Graduation is enough which means

graduation in Engineering is enough for participating in IES exam.
