Re: What should I choose after my B.Tech computer science(57%)? hi, i finished b.tech computer science in july this year, currently i am not working. i am not that good at programming. i want to do M.S in computer science from US.. is it okay to do m.s in computer science with less programming skills if not then tel me what branch should i choose for MS. |

You should have passed in gate entrance exam for a good college for m.tech.After mtech you have so much scope in IT sector and after m.tech you can get good salery. You can also do any course along with mtech. There are many courses are available for you like Java .Net Php Orracle So choose any one of them All the best. |

Re: What should I choose after my B.Tech computer science(57%)? dear naveen as you have mention your aggregate % as 57% dear first of all you should do hard work to make your all over % mre than 60% because all the company are requiring more than 60 or 65% through out the academic career.then you should 1.try for the campus placement or of campus placement in various software companies like TCS,WIPRO,NFOSYS,ACCENTURE etc 2. you should also try to do preparation for the GATE for m.tech ok all the best |

Hi, If you have talent, good knowledge in any programming or database ,you can do anything which you want.But if you are confuse,goal is not clear than go for CDAC ,M.Tech . Some steps to acheve your goal : 1)If you don't want to do more struggle than go for CDAC or M.Tech -here only you should have to give your 200% so that your future will be good 2)Do some course ,as per your interest but with dedication -eg-Java/J2ee,Oracle-DBA,Testing,CCNA,MCP ,Mainframe etc.You will get job,but you have to stuggle for 3-4 years, after that no problem. 3)Also you can do MBA |

You have just completed your B-TECH degree so you have lots of higher study scope M-TECH :- You must be cleared the GATE exam and also have a B-TECH degree. MBA:- You must be cleared the CAT or MAT exam also have graduation degree. MS:- Only graduate candidate are eligible for MS degree. JRF:- Only graduate candidate are eligible for JRF degree. PHD:- If you have B-TECH degree and GATE score then you are eligible for PHD entrance exam. all the best |

Although there are several options for you: 1. You can go for MBA 2. Prepare yourself well enough for M.Tech 3. If you want to go for a job,then try some CMM level3 companies. Re: What should I choose after my B.Tech computer science(57%)? You have two main options. The first is to go for M.Tech and the other is to go for MBA. If you are interested in having a technically oriented career then M.Tech is a good option. If you would like to deviate from the same then MBA is a better option. For both you need to appear for entrance exams like GATE, CAT etc. You also have the option to go for short term course like CCNA, SAP etc. |

The best option for you right now would be to go for M.Tech.. You can apply for GATE exam (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).. Re: What should I choose after my B.Tech computer science(57%)? dear friend , you can choose the better courses after the graduation completion from the b.tech in computer science. you can choose the course of the m.tech for the further studies related to the computer science and engineering. through the GATE ( graduate aptitude test in engineering ) exam you will get admission in the IIT's mentioned that you have to score percentile more than 96 . to know more about the gate exam kindly visit the website www.gateiitd.ac.in also you can attempt the exam CAT ( COMMON ENTRANCE TEST ) for the study of the management courses. after scoring the descent marks in the cat exam one can get admission in the IIM's ( indian institutes of management ). to know more about the cat exam and its application form kindly visit the website www.catiim.in thanks and best luck |
