Dear, According to me - As per the JELET ADVERTISEMENT DOCUMENT, i) For diploma holders in Engineering & Technology : There will be one question paper. Syllabus will be provided along with application form. The syllabus will be based on prescribed diploma courses of WBSCTE on the following 6 (six) subjects : (1) Engineering, Mathematics (2) Electrical Technology (3) Computer Application (4) Environmental Engineering (5)Engineering Mechanics / Basic Engineering (for Printing) (6) Strength of Materials / Printers’ Material Science for Engineering / Technology ii) For B.Sc. with Mathematics : A separate question paper on Mathematics will be set based on B.Sc. Calculus: Mean value theorems, Theorems of integral calculus, Evaluation of definite and improper integrals, Partial Derivatives, Maxima and minima, Multiple integrals, Fourier series. Vector identities, Directional derivatives, Line, Surface and Volume integrals, Stokes, Gauss and Green’s theorems. Differential equations: First order equation (linear and nonlinear), Higher order linear differential equations with constant coefficients, Method of variation of parameters, Cauchy’s and Euler’s equations, Initial and boundary value problems, Partial Differential Equations and variable separable method.
