Re: Syllabus of this years AFCAT entrance exam? hi priti. i am studying in mechanical engineering at vadodara in second semester . i want to join indian airforce as a post of mechenical engineer .i have some doughts. we have to give gate complsoury for entering in air force exzam? i hope that the gate is only for doing m.tech? u can reply me on [email protected]. i will send u syllabus as soon as possible . |

Re: Syllabus of this years AFCAT entrance exam? AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test Syllabus The Question Paper contains 100 questions of three marks each. There is 1 marks negative marking for every wrong answer .The total time allotted for the paper is two hours. Each Question Paper will have questions from the following topics:- (a) General Awareness – History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. (b) Verbal Ability in English – Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms and Testing of Vocabulary. (c) Numerical Ability – Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit & loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. (d) Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test – Verbal Skills and Spatial Ability. I have also attached the syllabus of AFCAT and some papers to help you out . |

AFCAT i.e Air Force Common Admission Test Syllabus Its a common Entrance test for Flying Branch, Technical Branch, Ground Duty officer You need to be 60% aggregate in all your Years in graduation.(More Details See the Notification) Syllabus Consists of Reasoning, Verbal ability, General Awareness , Numerical ability & General Aptitude. Exam will be of 2 hrs Duration with Objective questions. For preparations:- Books you should refer R S Agarwal quantitative aptitude, For Gk. Go for manorama, Competition success Review magazine. General Awareness Go Books for IAS. A Sample paper i have uploaded you can have a look on it. |
