Re: Procedure for studying CA? What is the course duration and fee structure?

Dear..

You have asked a question that often comes to many student. CA is a course that can be started right after your 12th class. The exam is conducted in 3 stages which are as given below:-

Registration in the CA office remain open for the whole year and you can register any time in the year but at the time of exam you must complete your 12th otherwise you will not consider cleared in your CPT.

1. CPT :- It is the first stage of the exam and all the students who are 12th passed are eligible for the exam. The exam is of 200 marks and contains questions from Maths Law, Economics and Accounts. Minimum 100 Marks are required to clear the exam. Sectional cut off will be applied from November.

2. IPCC :- All the students you are B.com Graduates can go for this level directly skipping the CPT level. All other stream students are also eligible for the exam but the condition is that they must have at least 60% marks in their graduation

3. Finals :- After IPCC a 15 months training will be there which is mandatory and after that you will be able to give the finals exam. Final exam are conducted in two groups.

Fees is 6500/- for CPT course which includes Form fees, Exam fees and registration fees

Hope it will help

Cheers

Re: Procedure for studying CA? What is the course duration and fee structure?

The CA courses is controlled by the ICAI and they are the concerning authority which held exams for CA.

There are mainly 3 steps involved in the CA. they are CPT, PCC and the final exam.
The CPT is the initial stage and the fee structure for this include a registration fee of Rs. 1500 and a tuition fee of Rs. 7500/-. For the PCC exam which is the second stage will charge the students with a fee of Rs.4000.

You will also have to pay Rs. 2000 for the registration for 100 hours of IT training.

You can Apply through online and also through offline.

There are basically three stages in this whole procedure which can be explained as follows:
1)CPT(Common proficiency test)-
This is an objective examination of 200 marks and you require atleast 100 marks to qualify the examination.
There are four sections in the exam which can be mentioned as follows:
1)Fundamentals of accountancy
2)Economics
3)Mercantile law
4)Quantitative aptitude

You can get the application form in your nearby post offices you have to fill it and have to attach all the prescribed documents .

Thanks....
