Re: Does 10th and 12th percentage matter for appearing in PSU exam?

Hi,
dont worry because in 10th and 12th percentage not a problem there any exam just asking minimum 50% above and 60% is maximum required. So try to get more than sixty percentage in both exam.
And finally try to improve your skills in your talk and body language.
Govt asking jobs in percentage 50% and private asking freshes candidate to apply with asking percentage its depending by companies.

Re: Does 10th and 12th percentage matter for appearing in PSU exam?

General requirements:

B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc.(Engg.) – Degree required

For final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

Minimum cut-off % of B.Tech varies for different PSUs
Gen. Category:-60%-70%;
Reserved Category:-50%-60%.
for psu your degree mark only matters so do not worry about your school marks. If you have got less marks no problem at all make more marks in your degree course

it will matter obvious because public sector undertaking companies are those who are having both government and private sectors..

Re: Does 10th and 12th percentage matter for appearing in PSU exam?

All the companies have a certain cutoff in grad.
very few of them have any criteria for 10th or 12th marks.Avoid making any gap between these two exams

so 10th and 12th marks greatly matter for getting job. don't give loose in study at 10 and 12. try to get maximum marks as possible in 10 and 12 and also in graduation. actually you should always try to get maximum marks irrespective of the examination. This will surely lead to the path of success.

Hiii
As far my knowledge in most of the PSU exam considered 12th class percentage. There are very few exam which considered 10th class percentage. secondly I would like to tell you that in most of the exam the minimum percentage asked for 12th class is 60%. but try to score as more as marks you can in your 1oth and 12th class.

yeah see gaurav,

private companies even they want their hire guys to be good in technical in particular fields.

if private companies are having these criteria then why don't PSU will have the same.

but don't worry they need only minimum criteria like 50-55% in 10 and 12th..

it won't hinder you much...

good luck.
