Graduation in any stream from a recognize university college. 2. The age between 21 to 30 years for general category Age relaxation is provided for OBC SC/ST candidates. 3. No. of attempt 4times OBC 7times abs ST/SC no limit. Preliminary Examination consists of Two Papers- Paper I — General Studies 150 marks Paper II — An Optional subject 300 marks. Dear friend, The reservation for SC/ST are as follows: Present percentage fixed for SC for competitive exams conducted by UPSC is 15%. This is dependent on the proportion to the population of SC/ST in the respective states. The reservation policy is followed for SC Candidates in civil service examination.15% reservation is nothing but an example. If there are 100 IAS posts in an UPSC notification then 15 posts are reserved for SC candidates only. All the best. |
