Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th class to apply for entrance exams? The eligibility criteria to appear for IIT - JEE exam are as follows.... Student must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum of 60 % of total mark. Students belonging to SC/ ST/ PD can have 55 % as minimum % while other students must have 60 % minimum. Students who are appearing for the 12th exam can also apply. Students must be between 17 - 25 years to appear for the exam.. Relaxation of age limit is there for SC/ ST/ PD students. A student can appear only twice for IIT JEE exam and it should be in consecutive years. You can apply for IIT JEE either online or offline... The IIT JEE examination is conducted to take admission in the B.Tech course in the IIT's. The eligibility criteria for the IIT JEE examination is as under. Educational Qualification:- The candidate must be class 12th pass with minimum 60% marks.SC/ST candidate can have 55% marks. A class 12th appearing candidate can also apply. Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th class to apply for entrance exams? for general category students, minimum percentage required is 60% for any good entrance exam. for SC/ST/OBC category students, minimum percentage required is 50% for any good entrance exam. |

To appear in the IIT JEE examination you need the following eligibility criteria : -> A candidate should have pass 12th board exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics as the main subject with at least 60% aggregates marks in the PCM subject. And 55% marks for the SC/ST/PH category candidates. ->A candidate can appear in the IIT JEE only twice. Once in the appearing of 12th board exam and other just next year after passing 12th exam. Re: Minimum percentage required in 12th class to apply for entrance exams? minimum pass mark is not just like that.minimum 60% is neccessary to appear for any competative exam.least than that also can be taken.but more consideration will be given for the fellows who have th e minimum percentage of 60.you can apply for various competative exams like bank clerks,ssc exams...etc., notifications will com ein newspapers daily.you can see that and apply for that exam as per your qualification.if you are a cbse student you will be mor ebenifited in competative exam syillabus.if you are a state exam canditate also no problem.little bit practice is neccessary to attend any competative exam.so read well carefully and attend all the exams.all the best for your future... |
