Re: BCA OR B.Sc after 10th(SSLC) Ask her to take B.Sc., rather than BCA. BCA or Bachelor's in Computer Application is loosing its charm for quite sometime now. You did not mention the subjects of inclination for your sister. But nowadays B.Sc. in Electronics and B.Sc. in Nanotechnology is picking up speed. These are becoming very popular among students. Unlike BCA these streams have a huge provision for job also. BCA people are not getting that much scope in jobs right now. The syllabus of BCA has not changed for so many years now. In fact, the IT jobs have become lesser day by day. So that becomes the root problem. So get your sister admitted in B.Sc. rather than BCA. |

Re: BCA OR B.Sc after 10th(SSLC) In India, under UGC norms, the minimum eligibility criteria for doing a bachelors degree will be 10 2. Only after that you wil be permitted do BCA as well as B. Sc. And both are good with respect to their own. Its just that, that BCA can be a professional degree whereas B. Sc is definitely a qualification to help pursue higher research. I am myself personally a post-graduate scholar of Delhi University or college and did my personal B. Sc within Microbiology from Delhi University or college.. So, there are a lot of scope even if you do B. Sc. Its just you have to be the best in whatever you decide to do.. Best would like.. |

subject to be taken in 10+2 hi i'm doing my 10th i want to do B.Sc (Agri) but i don't know what subject to take in 10+1. can i take science and computer or science and maths or science and ecnomics. (science includes biology, physics, and chemistry). i have very good marks in my 10th so marks is no problem for me. could u help me. i would really appreciate it. thnx!!!!! |

Re: BCA OR B.Sc after 10th(SSLC) Good evening Dear, There is no hard and fast rule to do Bsc/Bca directly after 10th so tell your sister that don't waste your time immidiatly take admission in 11th class and than apply for degree college. so don't get panic if your sister really want to do BSC,BCA then she must have 12 passed certificate with atlest 60% marks than only she is eligible fortaking admission in bachlor degree college.
