Re: Indian Army after B.Com. and with 20 year age? dear friend, After completion of B.com you can go for Indian Army through CDS exam. CDS exam is conducted by UPSC every year.. Eligibility for CDS exam:- For Indian Military Academy:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Candidate must not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.Age should be in between 19-24 years.. 4.Candidate must be a citizen of India. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill to appear in CDS exam. As you are 20 years old then you are surely eligible.. All the best.. |

There are some selection procedure such as: Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA) According to the Eligibility Criteria: i)For IMA and OTA you must have any degree from any recognized University. ii)For Naval Academy you should have B.Sc in Physics or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering(BE). iii)For (AFA) you should have the degree of recognized University with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor of Engineering(BE) Age Limit: i)For IMA:19-24 Years ii)For OTA:19-23 Years iii)For Naval Academy:19-22 Years iv)For AFA :19-25 Years |

Yes, any graduate can apply for CDS after graduation to join as an Indian army officer, B.com is also allowed, any subject recognized is allowed. Marks are not an issue for cds entry, you must have passed graduation, thats all they need. And yes people with NCC C certificate with A or B grading can apply through ncc special entry for that you must have 50% in graduation. and you will not have to write any written exam for it, direct SSB is given. And the candidate should have secured 70% marks In 12th Level. And Only unmarried candidates are Eligible to Apply. The Age should between 16 1/2 - 19 Yrs at the time of Appearing Minimum Acceptable height is 157.5 cms. |

Dear, In order to join the Indian Army , you need to have the following eligibilities:- -> 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55-60% marks. -> Only unmarried male candidates can apply for it. -> Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years with no relaxation. -> Minimum height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion. -> No color blindness with 6/6 eyesight. B.Com students can join indian army after graduation. to join in Indian amry, you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam. through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army. the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks. age limit 21-29 years. all the best............. |

Re: Indian Army after B.Com. and with 20 year age? hiiiiiiiiiiii,, yes you can go for army for these you have to give exam of cds .cds held twice a year (19 september &13febrary). paer paterrn include g.k section , english&maths upto 10 level. form is availabe on april&october near your post office. |
