But if you complete the graduation the following is eligibility conditions: Graduation from a recognised university. Age limits is 21 years to 30 years, 3 years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5 years age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates. Candidate should be a citizen of india. But if you want to apply any of the government jobs the minimum age limit is 18 years. Best of luck. |

There are so many Government Job Entries Like SSC, UPSC, State police service, VAO, RAS etc. It is not possible to talk about all. It would be better if you furnish your details like qualification, age, the preferred Government department for posting etc. On an average, 25 is the age limit for most entry with 3 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. For UPSC, the general category age limit is 30, with 7 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates. For specific age limits for various enties into government jobs, Do check the concerned department website and also keep watching Employment news. Sir, I have passed BA and now I am doing MA Hindi Final year, and belongs to SC now my age is just 40 I have passed Shorthand English lower Type writing higher, Telugu, Hindi Typewriting Lower and computer knowledge also having. because I have read in the news paper on dated 22.12.11 for SC ST and BC candidates age relaxation extened upto 45 years through social welfare department govt of Andhra pradesh. whether I apply for revious posts like Stenograhpers etc. Kindly suggest me. |

Hi, the age limit for government jobs is 18-30.But it depends on type of post...like, clerical jobs-18-28. officers posts-21-30... for general sc\st the upper age limit(i.e.relaxation time) is 5years...incase of divorsed women the the relaxation age limit is 9years...so totally 40 years. |

For SC/ST candidates - 5 year relaxation in upper age means 21 to 35 For OBC candidates- 3 year relaxation in upper age means 21 to 33. And qualification is same for all- i.e. Graduation for various Govt. Jobs.. But in some state upsc board they give relaxation like in Punjab Civil Service (Judicial Branch) Examination, 2010 they gave age relaxation upto 40 years for divorce woman of their state. so it may give relaxation for divorce in your state. |
