mba is related to business field. it also will give you much more money, salary and status.
it is upon you that in which line you will go.

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

It actually depends on your interest dude. Which field you want to go in? Most engineers go for operations management, sales & marketing.
There are lot of courses available in MBA as your choice
Finance, Sales & marketing, HR, Operations management, IT,Logistics, International buisness, Retail management, Supply chain management etc.

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

You can do both, but let me clear your confusion.

MBA and MCA both are post graduation courses.

The basic differences between these two courses are:

1. Objectives:
MBA is Masters in Business Administration, while MCA is Masters in Computer Application.
MBA are for those who are interested in Business and management and corporate world, whereas MCA are for those who are interested in Software industry and programming.

2. Duration:

MBA is a 2 years post graduation course and MCA is a 3 years post graduation course.

3. Eligibility:
For MBA, anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field from a recognized university is eligible for MBA.

For MCA, Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply.
But candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation

4. Employment areas:
For MBA,
Business Consultancies, Brand & Marketing, Non-profit Organizations, Personal Business, Export Companies, Financial Organizations, Industrial Houses, Multinational Companies etc....

For MCA,
Computers and Related Electronic Equipment Manufacturers, Database Management, E-Commerce, Networking, Embedded Technologies, Design Support And Data Communications, System Maintenance, Security and Surveillance Companies, Software Development Companies etc etc....

So Both the courses are equally demanding, salaries will also be same but one has to go with his interest....

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

Hi

I feel 75% in BCA is good enough. It seems you are a studious individual, or you can cope up with studies. I would suggest you to touch the peek of your field.

In short, I say go for the MCA now. Holding a masters degree in your program would certainly boost your confidence and feel good factor.

Of course MBA is a must. I don't deny it, but then its a ladder you climb. Try not to miss any step. Its for your own good.

And BCA+MCA+MBA would have better Job opportunities than just BCA+MBA.

So rest up to you. Decide and go for it.

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

hi friend,
I would suggest you to choose the one out of MBA and MCA according to your interest and where your strengths are being fully utilized.

You mentioned that you got 75% in your BCA.

Its a huge percentage and this means that you have good grip and knowledge in the area of computers (Technical).

If you want to capitalize on that then, you can go for MCA.

IT boom is strongly coming back. You can get good jobs in good IT companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys.

If you are not interested in taking career in technical field, management field also a wise option.

MBA people are in good demand these days. They can have plenty of opportunities. They can make entry into whatever the sector they likes most.

The extra advantage for you if you do MBA is, the company can utilize in both the ways i.e. your technical knowledge that you secured in your BCA and management knowledge from your MBA.

Finally its your decision. Take wise decision and act accordingly and wish you good luck

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

you should choose your career option according to your interest. if you have interest on computer application and if you want to do further study then you may go for P.hd. but if you want to any management job then MBA is the best option. you have already MCA degree now if you complete MBA then you will face a very good opportunity because of your technical MCA degree. so you may go for MBA.

otherwise if you want to do job then keep trying for job surely you will get good job soon as you have very good marks. as you have master degree you may apply for job of lecturer in various institution. as well as you may also apply for job in various IT and software company.

decide in which direction you want to flow your career.
best wishes.

It really depends upon what your career aspirations are. Continuing in IT by way of MCA will equip you to deal with higher level of programming and will make you a specialist.

Where as in MBA it will expose you to how to manage and processes to enhance business competitiveness for an organization.

Congratulation !

Because You Have Scored Good Marks In Your BCA Course.

So, If You Are Confuse Regarding, What To Do After BCA, Then Please Dont Worry, Please Choose Courses According To Your Own Interest.

Because MBA And MCA, Both Are Best And Good Course In These Days.

So, I Will Suggest You, Just Choose Courses According To Your Interest.

If You Are Intrested To make Your Career In Management Field, Then MBA Is Best Option And After Completing MBA You Will Get Good Jobs In Top MNC Companies.

But If You Are Intrested To Make Your Career In Computer And Software Field, Then MCA Is the Best Option And Good Course. After Completing MCA You Will Get Good Jobs In Top IT Companies Like Wipro, Infosys....

So, According to Me Both The Courses Are Good. So, Please Think Properly And Choose Course According to Your Interest.

Hi,
You have got good percentile in your BCA,so don't worry about the percentile criteria.
Now personaaly i think you should go for MCA,as it will be the best option after doing BCA.
You will have advantage of your graduation subjects in MCA and you can see the market of MCA is very demanding these days.

MCA qualified professionals are needed by several top software companies in India and as well as in abroad.

MBA is a different stream of course which has no relation with your graduation course i.e BCA.
So go for MCA,that can boost up your career opportunities.

because it is related to the BCA course. MCA is the master degree

a big IT company. You can also do MBA course if your interest in the
management field is more. Both courses are good. You can take

no problem you have a brilliant number as you get 75% in Bachelor Degree.
In comparsion of the MBA or MCA I will say you for MCA,

MBA is totally another way it is Business line ,so go for MCA.

Re: BCA with 75%, what can be done? MBA or MCA?

Hello friend,
As far as eligibility is concerned, you can pursue both the courses but selection of course must be based on your interest and expertise. Now, before making selection of a course, you must think and realize that the selection of BCA, out of hundred of courses, was just a casual move or part of your future plan. According to me, you opted BCA to become a professional in computer application. You might had interest in the subject and in its technical aspect. So, if i am right, you must stick to the same plan. You must pursue MCA to become a complete professional. There is a rapid growth in almost every industry and hence, the oppurtunities are growing and this oppurtunity is not only offered to the one with MBA degree. The opportunity is immense for professionals of computer application and related field too. Since you have given three years for learning computer application you must make it count and continue your higher study in the same field.
