Although many people think of veterinary science and what veterinarians do only in terms of clinical practice, veterinarians also work in many other fields. Clinical veterinary services are of national importance in promoting the health, welfare and productivity of farm animals, including cattle, sheep, goats, deer, pigs and poultry. Veterinary science is a very broad field starting from field large animal practice to poultry, dairy, research, toxicology etc..in many institutes consider them on par with medical graduates. Contrary to the general belief, as an academic course it is much tougher than human medicine. If you love animals and rural India, It is simply best. Close your eyes and join. |

Re: Scope of veterinary science? there is an acute shortage of veterinay docters in india and unlike humans the docter can charge variable fees for different creatures.......it has scope in breeding,clinical research,zoo,ecologist,animal trauma docter etc other good branches are biomedical science biotechnology biostatistics and bioinformatics microbiology horticulture and agriculture physiotherapy/audiology/occupational therapy etcc |

Hello friend the scope of veterinary sciencen is very good in india as we know that mbbs exams have become much tougher then before so it's difficult to crack these exams and vetrinar science i.e. science of disgnosing, trating curing birds and animal diseases is a good carrier to opt for. |
