National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT), New Delhi is one of the best institutions for fashion & design technology. Courses: Degree, Diploma, Certificate courses in Fashion Design, Textile design, Fashion and Information Technology etc. Admission Criteria: you have to pass the or appear in Higher Secondary (10+2), or equivalents like AISSCE/IB/ICSE etc exam and then Entrance Examination and Interview. The application form is generally published from November each year. Other Branches of the institutions:Bengaluru,Chennai, Jodhpur,Kangara,Kunnur,Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Patna,Raebareli,Shillong Master Program : M. National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT) NIFT was set up at New Delhi in 1986 under the aegis of Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario. ADMISSION CALENDAR 2011 Application Form Available : 19th November, 2010 to 5th January, 2011 Last date of Submission of form : 10th January, 2011 Written Entrance Exam : 20th February, 2011 Declaration of Written Exam Result : End of March, 2011 Situation Test / GD / Interviews : April - May, 2011 NIFT 2011 results (ug) : End May, 2011 NIFT 2011 results (pg) : 1st week of June, 2011 In 2010 AFDians obtained all India rank AIR 1, 3 & 7. Every year1 out of 5 students who are admitted to NIFT courses are AFDians. AFD's preparation for Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing & Management examination includes aptitute test, help in selection of course & filling application forms, admission guidence, mock tests. The training covers all aspects of the admission test including creative ability test CAT, general ability test GAT, situation test, interview, group discussion.
