Re: How to crack technical interview in placements?

A technical Interview is an interaction which is basically aimed to extract all the knowledge that you have gained in your academics courses.

So First of all, I would say if you wish that your interview should be a cakewalk, you should be very particular about your course material. You have to have an appropriate and precise answers for the conceptual questions that might be put up to you.

You have to be very strong with your knowledge. You should be so knowledgeable, that it would reflect upon your fluency and confidence.

Some of the other factors which play a vital role in your technical interview are:

1. Body Language - Sit with a erect and confident posture. And keep your hands on your lap or on the handle of the chair.

2. Eye Contact - Maintain an eye contact with the interviewee. It shows you are gentle, and honest.

3. CGPA - Most people underestimate this, but your academic result also matters to mark an impression.

4. Honesty - Do not ever try to fool the interviewee. He is much more intelligent than you, and would be easily catching your lies and make ups. Be honest in everything you speak.

Follow these, work on all these, and you can give a good interview ./

Best of luck.

Re: How to crack technical interview in placements?

In order crack Technical Interviews, you should be strong enough in subject knowledge. It is need not necessary to remember the entire text book. But you should have some command on all the chapters of that particular subject.

There will be some fundamental aspects for all the lessons. Be strong enough in fundamentals and definitions and other important jargon. Make your preparation in such a way that you should be able to answer any of these fundamentals and definitions with good explanation and with examples.

The success or failure of a candidate in the technical interview depends on the way how the candidate will present the information that is with him.

Even if you have small content for a particular concept and if that is being asked by the interviewer, then you should be able to elobarate that information without the changing of meaning.

Always try to answer questions with some logic. Don't tell text book definitions. That will not create any impression on you by the Interviewer.

If you have mentioned any core subject related certifications in your resume, obviously questions will be posed from that certification. So, by the time you attend for Technical Interview, be perfect in the concepts which were there in your certification also.

Re: How to crack technical interview in placements?

Dear friend,

Technical interview is one of the most difficult part in an interview process. Interviewers will ask questions based on your branch or stream.Every branch have some core subjects.Study well those subjects. Questions will be only based on those core subjects.
If you are a CS/IT student,you can expect questions from
1.C language
2.C++
3.Operating system
4.DBMS
5.Compiler design
6.Networks

If the interviewer thinks that you have some doubts about the topic.They will ask more questions about that.

EX:
What is OOP?
is C++ is OOP?
why C is not OOP?
Difference between C and C++?

prepare well for your Interview
Good Luck
