For the post of probationary officer one should be graduate with any university with at least 60 percent marks.

initially for every bank there is a seprate exam for these post but now there is only one exam for this post.
so in a year there is one exam for clerk and one for P.O.
and for SBI there is seprate exam.

Bank PO exam is conducted basically in following areas:
(i) test of English language (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension etc.)
(ii) test of general awareness, marketing and computers
(iii) test of data analysis and interpretation

now a days banking exams r tuff type of questions are diffrent from previous pattern of PO exam now wat should be the strategy for it . Not able to understand wat banks want from a camdidate r they looking for CAT/IIM aspirants not average guys who have less means to get job like in banks

the eligibility criterion to appear in Bank PO examination is candidate should have minimum of graduation degree with minimum of 60% marks although this criterion vary for different bank PO examination. age should be in between 21 to 30 for general category.

to clear bank PO examination you must be prepare for the examination attentively. first buy some good books from market and solve them yourself attentively. then solve some model question papers will be given in the last of the book. after that collect previous year bank PO examination papers for that particular bank examination and solve the previous years paper. then you will be quiet confident about the examination and you will clear the bank PO examination. after that you have to be prepare for interview. after clearing interview you will be selected for Bank Probationary Officer.

Qualification:- For PO You should have completed their graduation with at

eligible for this course. you must be computer literate to be
eligible for this course.

Age limit:- minimum age 21 years and maximum 30 years of age for
general/obc. There are relaxation for sc/st/sst and other.

Selection Criteria:

Examination will be held in two terms.
First term(1st objective paper,discriptive paper).
Second term-interview.

Objective examination will consist of:
i.Reasoning Ability Test
ii.Quantitative Aptitude
iii.General Awareness/Computer Knowledge
iv.English Language

In discriptive paper you will have to give the answers of 5 different questions on different topic(based on social economic and some social issues).

Note :- you should solved previous papers of bank. you can join a good

Bank Probationary Officer (PO) Exam
A Probationary Officer (PO) in a bank can be made to work in diverse
fields such as Marketing, Finance, IT and so on. It is a prestigious
post and there is a huge turn out on the PO Exam dates these days.
Luckily many banks in India these days are recruiting for this post
heavily and there are high chances for a person to get selected. Here
is a short review of the requirements for post of PO.


Educational qualifications

First of all Bank PO means Bank’s Probationary Officer.
As you have known that Bank PO is pretty much a competitive exam.So i have mentioned some of the education and eligibility criteria that you must possess for the exam and i have attached some papers which would be helpful for your preparation.

Syndicate Bank PO Exam Eligibility Criteria:

If you are planning to prepare for PO exam for Syndicate Bank then it is important for you to understand the eligibility criteria for the same. Please refer to the below mentioned basics of eligibility criteria:

One needs to be citizen of India in order to be eligible to apply for the designation of PO for Syndicate Bank.

A subject of Nepal or Bhutan with a favor certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.

Person can be a Tibetan refugee, who came to India prior to 1st January, 1962. It is important that this refugee came to India with intentions to permanently stay here. It is important that this person holds a favor certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.

A person of Indian origin who has later migrated to Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, East African countries like Uganda, Zambia, Kenya, United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Ethiopia, Zaire & Vietnam with full intentions of permanently settling in India. It is mandatory for this person to hold a favor certificate of eligibility issued by Government of India.

Candidates over the age of 21 years and below or equal to 30 years of age are eligible to apply for this job.

Education Qualification:

PG degree from any recognized university in any subject with 60% aggregate and computer science course which includes MS office, MS Word, Excel etc. or MCA with 60% aggregate. A person with bachelor’s degree in engineering with 60 % aggregate along with computer knowledge is also eligible.

Syllabus to be covered:

1. Test of Reasoning/Mental Ability/Aptitude:
This section usually tries to test the reasoning abilities and mental aptitude of the candidate. Questions are asked mainly from the following categories.

For almost all bank exams, the eligibility will be
Academic qualification :
