IPS stands for Indian Police Service and to become an IPS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or Pass in any stream of education from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with good pHysical Fitness, can apply for IPS, Civil Service Exam. Dear Friend, You can absolutely appear in IPS exam which is taken as the civil services exam every year through Union Public Service Commission if you have completed your B.Tech successfully without any backlogs. The eligibility criteria you require for Civil services Examinations are : * You must have completed your graduation in any stream from any recognized college / university. * Your age should lie in between 21-30 years. There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Eligibility for IPS exam:- 1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade. 2.Candidate must be a citizen of India. 3.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. 4.Candidate must be physically fit.. These are criteria you have to fulfill.. As you have done B.tech course then you can apply for IPS exam. ALL THE BEST. |

There are no special requirements for appearing for the ips exam as it is part of the civil services examination. So if you fulfill the criteria for civil services exams you, by default, qualify for ips exams as well. 1..ips exam:- to be eligible for the civil services exams: You must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filling the civil services (preliminary) exam form and not more than 30 years of age (various relaxations are available for different categories). You must possess a graduate degree in any discipline of any of the universities incorporated by an act of central or state legislature in india or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of the ugc act 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification. Candidates who are in the final semester or have taken their final degree exam but are awaiting the results can also appear for the ias and ips preliminary examination provided they furnish their proof of degree while filling the mains form. Re: Can I do IPS after completing B.Tech? yea after completion of B.Tech you can go for IPS. to become an IPS you have to appear in civil service examination. the age limit to become IPS officer is for general candidate is 30 years old. there are 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST candidate and three years age relaxation for OBC candidate. |

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Services Exam every year. The Civil Services Exam holds the key for entry into a number of prestigious jobs in the country including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS). IAS, IFS, and IPS are the top three services of Group A, Central Services. The other Group A services include Indian Customs and Central Excise Service, Indian Revenue Service, and Indian Postal Service. Civil Services Exam consists of preliminary exam (prelims), main exam (mains), and interview. The prelims are usually held in May /June. Mains are held in October/November. If the student is between 21 to 30 years of age then he can write this exam. every year this exam was conducted by UPSC so you can fill the form of this exam every year after completion of your graduation and upto the age of 30 years. |

Expansion 5 cm Eye sight 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. Blood pressure (High) Age 23 123, age 24 124, age 25 122, age 28 124, age 30 125 Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment shd not be more than 30 decibels. Prepare very hard for this exam. Good Luck |

According to your current age you would take the test in the age of 25 at least. But you are elegible till you get 35 years old. So, focus on your preparation. Thank You |
